If you actually like coaching and want a shot at being one of the best, the best case scenario at South Carolina is you have a good first year or 2 and a better job in conference opens. Extended success is not possible there. The other option is the Beamer route of sucking arse but not getting fired until you end up with $50,000,000+ and you never have to work again.

Elko is too busy eating himself to death to put together a decent roster. Brian Kelly’s cornball arse had MVB leave a starting job at Moo St to sit behind the Nuss Bus. There are plenty of examples proving Elko wrong. Plus Marcel Reed is dogshit. TAMU is USCe just with an ego bigger than Elko’s gut. They’ll never be good.
