Yeah nothing captures that old Charleston charm like a massive fake brick apartment building with a dominoes and a Jimmy John’s inside of it. That whole area was a marsh, then a landfill, now buildings. There’s still a tidal creek that runs behind it, the creek would drain into the marsh but now it dumps onto Hagood. It will will continue to flood after the new pumps. It’s really just a newer version of the building you’re shitting on, only it’s in a worse location with a shittier view

OP is likely referring to this years field of 8. If Murray St were to win it, they’d be the biggest underdog ever under the current CWS format. Idk what happened in the decades before so there could be something similar. 2016 Coastal isn’t the biggest underdog champ in the modern format, that goes to Fresno State
