Real quicksand is very different from the dramatic portrayals of Hollywood. Quicksand is a muddy mixture of sand, water and sometimes clay that forms from rising groundwater. While the sand won’t support much weight, humans are too buoyant to sink completely beneath the sand.
In Utah which he's describing it can be wet sand which is now dried and the void empty spaces are simply filled with air.
There's just not a lot of substance. Had such scare during a 5day solo trip on Lake Powell. Was paddling slot canyons and went for a short hike to a water fall. No one around and days out so it was a bit disconcerting to be knee deep and still on the way down. It was a dry creek bed on this side so I immediately flopped over to the wet side and it was solid. Was definitely time to get back in the canoe.

Live at the Fillmore East. Allman Brothers Band.
But or although their live elements from their 3 night performance were pieced (stidio'ed) into what is labeled live.

As he beat the shite out of them but not the referees. And as much as I dislike his season performance that day he was robbed by a low class squad of referee's who were publicly reprimanded yet remained to do malfeasance yet again and again.
Which makes Oklahoma just as much low life bastards as that other team in Crimson who should have losses attached to their season (by losses from Auburn) instead of having the ability to play for a championship.

It's cool, but private sector would print a wrap and have each helmet done in minutes.
Just a template would have cut the time in half. And decal's in composites are routine and done for several decades. They're usually placed in the mold and the results much preferable and almost effortless once the graphics is decided upon.
And I'm sure they'll outlast what he's sprayed on.
And that a lot of kids need a reminder that although they're getting a windfall today, that most won't remain professional athletes as a life long career.

Me thinks there's going to be far less graduate with an Auburn degree.
Until at some point the smart kids learn the true value of what a life time connection can make. And this is something that should be presented along with their NIL.

quote:Or if your coach hasn't really noticed how good today's top shelf quarterback REALLY is.
Yes, and with the portal, no excuse not to have at least above average QB play at a top 15 program. This shows if your coach sucks or doesn't (don't care if he is CEO, defense or offense)
It's no longer good enough to be able to throw across the field without interceptions. Top tier QB's make this play while putting it where only their receiver can make he play. It's not mere mechanics it's a precision driven mental game. In stride, to the right guy, or not at all. Not if they're thinking NFL. Their interceptions come from tips, attempting last minute heroics, and for some reason not seeing the defender.
I'm not sure Hugh really stayed abreast of what's required. As evidenced by our over paying for what we got and their inability to make a difference. It's simply not the same game that they played in. And I'm tired of watching the other QB and saying wow that's how you throw the ball.
