One guy actually got around the barrier and walked about halfway to the end of the pier, climbed over the rail, and dove into the surf.

So where he went up that little wall and broke into that cottage that's up that little hill is a family friend of ours. Was a pretty cool story of that storm.

Hurricane Andrew is about to be refreshed. People who have never seen anything like this will tell the story the rest of their lives. And millions will have PTSD every time a Hurricane gets into the gulf.

Andrew blew my roof off in Baton Rouge and the ceiling caved in. I was never the same.
