This is a stat that says it all:
“MacKinnon, Nelson, Lehkonen, and Nichushkin combined for 3 shots on goal at 5-on-5 this evening.”
Good on Vegas for clogging up the lanes from the point. Avs need to be playing top circle to bumper and get nasty in front.
I just don’t think we’ve got it.

Regardless, a great ambassador of the game.
