re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/22/23 at 8:36 pm
Byram is not having a good game he needs to be better especially when Cale is out
I don’t disagree, but Byram is still so green - although, he should know better.
The refs are not exactly helping Colorado, either.... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/22/23 at 11:39 am
Avs 2 points back but with two games in hand
Pens have lost 4 straight and are now on the outside looking in of the playoffs.
The Pens/Avs game should have a playoff feel to it tonight and be one hell of a game to watch.
Makar, EJ, and Helm all sound like they have a chance ... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

I’m ready for them to make this mistake as they have in the past.
Great deal for the NHL!... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/20/23 at 12:20 pm Landeskog is on the ice with the team in a no-contact jersey. If all keeps progressing as it has the past few weeks, it sure seems like the Avs get the biggest piece of the puzzle currently missing back just in time for the postseason.
Also, it seems like Makar will be out tonight with whatever L... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |

No. It’s when you attend beyond the second year that it is then required (minus exception granted by the Secretary of the [insert branch]) that you serve time.... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |

As other posters have said, a lot of baseball recruiting is just simply different. It’s not just talent acquisition, it is also why baseball has such a unique farm system compared to other pro sports.

re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 10:00 pm Shaping up to be a really, really good night for the Avs with us getting 2 points and:
Nashville
Winnipeg
Dallas (if EDM can hold on)
All losing.... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 9:53 pm
So much for the "this is such a stupid argument to make" nonsense, huh? Yet, here you are a dozen posts later
Now 6 =12 in your mind, I guess. Just like a goalie’s crease = the low slot.
A stupid argument being proven wrong from multiple angles (based on every point you at... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

The green path is not fair, the yellow path is Binnington’s right, and instead Hartman should’ve taken the red one.
Got it!... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2) |

So many strides that he took none and instead stood up on his left skate after going down to his right knee?... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 9:05 pm
5th goal was a waved off icing (no idea why), possibly held by goalie but no whistle and Avs just hit puck in. Super weird.
Easily one of the weirdest things I’ve seen, and I haven’t been watching as long as many of y’all.
Watching it on Altitude and everyone being like “WTF WAS... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |

re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 8:21 pm
It was an unfortunate incident that Kadri couldn't change his momentum (unlike Hartman).
Hartman did. He was heading right to the near side post and took almost a lateral path to his teammate to celebrate.
Binnington got in the way a good bit out of the crease by spinning around... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 8:18 pm I know I said I was done, but this is such a stupid argument. You’re telling me that Binnington is reasonable to slide in a motion unrelated to the save attempt out of his crease? That we don’t see what Hartman did (minus the contact, I’m talking about the path he’s skating) happen quite a bit?

And here’s the last thing I’ll say on it because it’s clear your mind is made up. You’re faulting Hartman for taking a straight line in a good range outside of the crease ... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

Correct. With sliding to a spot on the ice that is not solely his, when it wasn’t needed and wasn’t continuation from his attempted save. With Hartman doing nothing more than you see several times every... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: 2022 NHL Season Thread - NOLA1128 on 3/16/23 at 7:45 pm Now chalk that up to one of the weirdest goals you’ll ever see if it stands for Colorado.
Looked like an icing that wasn’t because it came back in the crease and was touched by the G. Looks like he covered the puck, but the whistle never blew (and as an Avs fan, 100% should’ve been). Sogaard let ... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
