It really cannot be overstated how fricking good McFarland and Sakic are. This team is DEEP and far from healthy.

There are going to be some tough decisions by Bedsy when LOC and Girard are back.

CANNOT TAKE THAT LANDY GOAL OFF THE BOARD!

OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN!
Happy birthday, brothers! Semper Fidelis.

GIVE HIM ONE!
quote:

i didn't see the game, so pre snap he made the right reads? checked out of play calls?

Yes. It was impressive. Even his progressions to the check down were right. His hot reads were right (though a couple of times were off).

Pretty sure he checked out of a QB sneak to a weak side dive from Kamara on fourth down in a huge spot (execution was the issue that almost made it fail, his read was 10000000% right).

Shough seems like the real deal.

The lucky squirrel doesn’t usually make continual decisions that are correct. Shough did.

If we wind up with the first pick, I’d love to see us trade back for some assets and build inside-out and get him some weapons with gained assets.

Shough has me a believer.

We might have something with Shough

I know it’s only two games in, but his pre and post snap reads are something we’ve been missing for a while. His pocket presence is impressive as hell (maybe I have just gotten used to Nussmeier retreating and rolling left into a sack at random).

And he’s looking damned good with hardly any talent around him. Im excited for the future and ready to get hurt again because we know how this goes for this franchise

The ONLY silver lining is if this helps him become a one term governor.

Eh, is it though? Politicians in the state suck as a whole. Not sure it’s a silver lining whatsoever if it bombs our next hire in one of the few things our state has going for it
Just as a heads up baws. Jumper at the top causing it.

Praying for Jamaica right now. Terrifying what they’re going to be going through today and into tonight.

I know he doesn’t have a track record as a proven head coach but all the guy does is win

I mean, he's an interim OC. Yeah, he doesn't have a track record as a HC at all.

They said that the actions of the Avalanche player forced the Mammoth player to play the puck back into his zone. No, that’s not a joke, that’s actually the justification.

Absolute robbery and horseshite from Toronto. If Chu had hit the stick or checked the player, got it, but there’s no indisputable evidence that his stick made any contact. I’m not sure how they overruled the call on the ice.

NHL’s horseshite

Necas has been absolutely insane to start this season, goodness.
I plan on being there the full game, but with the weather and current status of the program - I suspect that this’ll be an early exit for many. Especially if it’s not a good watch as even our wins have been lately.

With the way the D played yesterday, not like it would’ve mattered. Just would’ve padded Pavia’s stats as he scrambles for 10 extra yards.

Glad to get a point there. Avs were significantly outplayed

Another ridiculously good game by Wedgewood!

At one point late in the 2P the Avs were outshot 12-0, absolutely a well deserved 1st star for Wedgie

3/14 and 3/15. I know not everyone loves their schtick, but a lot of fun for the kiddos

The Avalanche looked great last night, but Wedgewood continues to be incredibly impressive. Once Blackwood is good to go, we might have two highly competent goalies in net for the first time in a while (Kuemper/Francouz?).

It was also really nice seeing Necas get aggressive with the puck on his stick last night. That PP is going to be nasty if he keeps that up.

Chambliss throws three picks and is benched. Then Simmons comes in and throws three more

If this were the case, does LSU cover the O/U by themselves after generating 6 takeaways?
We'd be so conservative that would be like a 28-7 game.
