They only even wear those because they’re forced to. Hockey grandfathers in safety equipment so the few players left old enough to skip visors in the NHL still don’t wear them.
I think for a while players were tilting them completely out of the way of their face, effectively neutralizing their effect and the NHL came down on that.
Hockey fans hate it and describe it as gimmicky. Just a step above the shootout.
It is fun though. But anyone who really follows hockey knows playoff overtime 5v5 is god tier.

They’re the same basic format as the 1960 team. The junior team has been wearing these for years.
Nike as always tried to frick up our jerseys and go hyper modern the last several cycles. These are fanatics jerseys so thankful they went back to a classic.
2010 was a good clean modern jersey but not much to write home about.

I was shocked the general access I’ve had to Alex box. It seems to be open for sure on football game days.
Hell at the university of Maryland in 2011 my buddies and I went out there every day during a college summer program and played ball for hours over the course of 3 weeks. Not ONCE did someone come kick us off the field.
