You voted for Biden.

Do you really think Biden is the only thing responsible for inflation?

I'm not even a political person.

Man, this is my first time eating out in months and with these prices I'm staying my arse home and cooking myself. Most of the time I can do it better anyway.

If you can do that, you probably should. I can do many things, but I don’t always want to. It will likely cost more at restaurant. I’m good with that. Prices are up.

but what I experienced today was on a different level. My wife, son, and I ate lunch at a seafood place in Metairie. We sat down and looked at the menu and the damn place didn't have hardly any prices on their entrees. Most of the damn menu said "Market price". We ended up ordering crawfish etouffee, a 6" catfish po boy w/ fries, and a catfish plate with potatoes and mac-n-cheese. The damn bill ended up being $80.

The new paradigm is to pass costs onto the consumer because the consumer is eaten up with the mindset everything is 4 times as high. Don't buy into that.

Explain. Do you mean I shouldn’t believe the groceries, fuel, and clothes I pay more for now aren’t more expensive? Cause I’m paying more for them. Or do you mean it’s all a scam, those items really cost the same but Footjoy, Exxon, and the grocery stores are just screwing me?

Must be one hell of a scam then, cause every manufacturer in the planet is in on it. Steel, concrete, boats, motors, appliances- they’re all more expensive too. Not just your tator tots and chicken wings.

Gilbert grape's mom size.

It was a road trip not a random Tuesday.

Iced tea was Unsweetened. Soda for my son who is in his 20s and not overweight at all. No one finished the pie as stated. Chickfila was convenient that day when we stopped for gas also.

Sounds like a miserable life.

I don't know. I can't imagine how bored a guy must be when eating out increases your quality of life. Its nice to do, but there's a hundred other more exciting things a guy can enjoy.

Right now?

Absolutely. When he took office and started the money spigot again, he was warned about inflation and he denied it would be a problem.

He's also blaming the wrong people for inflation. He doesn't understand economics.

is this you just denying inflation isn’t crushing the average American family. Have you gone to the grocery store lately? you can’t deny it

The Galley has never been cheap. I eat out like 15 times a week and can honestly say I haven’t seen much of a price increase at restaurants over the last year.

Wife and I cook nice meals at home. If nothing else, it’s an activity we can do together.

We refuse to overpay for below par food and bad service which seems to be the norm now.

No, this is me being skeptical about a $60 meal for three people at IHOP.
