I agree. Don’t know the last time I had this type of terrible service that is talked about in this thread. And my family eats out every lunch and dinner during the week and at least two breakfasts.

We never cook at home. Family probably eats out 15ish meals a week. Don’t even want to know what we spend ??

ETA: and yes, I’m a fat arse
Metairie Country Club has a member from the west bank. Says it all.
Grilled Cheese at Galatoire's.
I know I’m in the minority but I never have cared for his restaurant.

I watch Vegas Matt a lot.

The channels with high subscriber counts can probably freeroll most of their sessions with YouTube revenue, which is pretty awesome IMO.

That’s exactly what Vegas Matt does. I heard a few podcasts that he was a guest. He is a pretty likable guy.

He has his sons working for him. One tapes all gambling sessions and one edits the videos. They make enough money on the social media videos to cover the loses and pay his kids a handsome salary plus make a good profit. What a time to be alive!

He also said that the casinos in Vegas have not YET started to sponsor influencers from the social media space but he thinks that will happen very soon. He is also in talks with IMG to have a slot game licensed with his likeness - which would be super profitable for him personally.

I fail to see why it matters how much mark up the item was if it was purchased with my money. Maybe I’m just an idiot.

This would be true if they didn't get $70 back. When they got $70 back all they lost was $30 and their cost on the goods that the thief gained.

 what the hell are you talking about?

Maybe I’m the jabronie here but here are the two scenarios:
Say the store has $200 in the drawer:

1) If the guy never stole the money - store has $200 in the drawer. Guy walks in and buys $30 of goods with a hundred dollar bill. Store now has $230 in the drawer (200+100-70=230)

2) Guy steals $100 - store now has $100 in the drawer. Guys walks in and buys $30 of goods with a hundred dollar bill. Store now has $130 in the drawer (100+100-70=130).

:dunno:
There are some not smart people in this thread. The store lost $100. Any “profit” the store made from the sale was their own money.

If there would have been Bifurcation, that’s when the crapping of the pants would have started. Think the manufacturers are fine with this.

Eta: and the best scenario for us. We won’t be paying $120 a dozen.

I have a United master card that I got in college many moons ago. Totally forgot about the “points” aspect of the card until a travel agent this summer asked if I had any cards with points. Turns out I have over 6 million miles. Don’t think I will ever use all of those but traveling first class to Spain last summer for free was pretty sweet.
San Lorenzo. I have done a few parties that size there with zero issues.
