I knew restaurant pricing was high these days....

but what I experienced today was on a different level. My wife, son, and I ate lunch at a seafood place in Metairie. We sat down and looked at the menu and the damn place didn't have hardly any prices on their entrees. Most of the damn menu said "Market price". We ended up ordering crawfish etouffee, a 6" catfish po boy w/ fries, and a catfish plate with potatoes and mac-n-cheese. The damn bill ended up being $80. Man, this is my first time eating out in months and with these prices I'm staying my arse home and cooking myself. Most of the time I can do it better anyway.

Bet you were at The Galley?

Now you know why they didn’t list the prices.

In theory, Gerald Ford’s idea of everyone growing a Whip Inflation Now garden makes sound economic sense. It was just bad marketing.

1-2 apps … $10
3 entrees … $50
3 beverages …. $10+
Tip … $10
Sounds like 2022 restaurant dining prices to me. My advice, don’t go out and eat BBQ

You haven’t eaten anywhere but your home for months?

I rarely go out to eat anymore. The prices are ridiculous

PoBoy Express might be charging 100 dollars for that big cheeseburger poboy now.

We order water every time we go out. No beverages.

I agree. Sounds more like a $100 meal if you ask me.

There was an 18% gratuity in the check for non tippers.

I did that once working a summer job at LSU. Was a nice gig for all the free food between semesters at the frat house but never again.
Guy was all pissy about it too. Asswipe.

Yeah you probably do need to just stay home. Either than or eat at the TGIFriday's or Chili's special price menu.
