How warm is your pool now? Do you like warm or cold pool water.

Been very hot outside obviously.
Pool is sitting at 93 degrees.
My preferred temperature depends on the circumstances.
Lazy late afternoon with a drink, I like a warm pool.
Taking dips while mowing the lawn, I like a cool pool.
Unfortunately, I only have one pool so it’s either or depending on the time of year.
P.S. And a hot tub but that’s always hot obviously.

Cold. My house in BR had a chiller on it and miss it. House in Spring can get hot. I may end up adding one when it’s time to redo the pool.

I keep the heater set at 91 all year. Obviously it doesn’t run much this time of year.

I hear the water jets that arc across the pool drops the temp.

Was fishing just north of Grand Isle last Saturday. Jumped in to cool off at some point. The difference in temp between the top two feet and then going down to about four feet was astonishing. At least 15 degree difference

When I was a kid, the best time to swim was coming out of winter when it was starting to stay consistently warm. You would have the hot sun, cool breeze, and the water was coolish. We would stay in the pool all day long.

Mine sits at 92 most of the summer. This is our 4th summer with it. When my heater goes out, I'm replacing it with a heater/chiller combo unit.

Mine was at 93 a couple days ago, not sure what it is now...other than too hot. 85 is about the perfect temperature, and it's tolerable all the way up to 90. Above 90 is bearable if you're in when its shady, but it still kind of sucks.

We installed a heater/chiller when we installed the pool, great investment.
We run the water features at night during the summer months and that helps keep the temperature around 88 without using the chiller.
Water temperature hit 90 today; I’m turning on the chiller as we speak.
My BNL’s pool is 96 degrees; he doesn’t have a chiller.

Yeah my pool is warm enough that I sweat when I'm in it. I prefer the late May temperature where it's hot out and it's nice and has a nice brisk feel in the pool.

because of the orientation of our home and the woods behind it, my house only gets full sun this time of the year between 11AM - 5PM. It it usually sitting at 89-90 during the day.
88-90 is my ideal team.
Wifey and the kids like it warmer.

Went in last night and it was too warm for my preference. So also last night I hauled out the sprinkler fountains that lower the water temp and installed them to two of the returns. Should be better tonight.

Prefer a cooler temp over warmer. Outside temp matters too. A hot pool on a hot day is not refreshing. A cold pool on a cold or cloudy day is also not appealing. Reverse the scenarios and it’s great.

Aerator, mine runs all the time in the summer and it works great. Friend doesn't have an aerator and it runs about five degrees warmer.
Just got out of my pool- water temp was 89, outside temp is 111 (both according to my Apple Watch).
