This is a feeble attempt for Divisive in Chief to distract from negative press he is currently getting.

Obama Care is being exposed for the $ laundering scheme we all knew it was.

But yet the Liberals love his slight of hand and keep on drinking the MSM's Jim Jones Kool-Aid.
Their parents need to be put down and their government benefits needs to be revoked
Great post

Not everything is made for fishing during 50mph winds in 5' breaks. Some of us appreciate DIYs for daily use to pearch jerk a few or snag a 3 pounder every now and then.

Thanks for you suggestion.

re: Cigar smoking…why?

Cigars stink - the smoker's clothes stink, their breath stinks, their house stinks, their vehicles stink.

The only thing that smells worst is 70's skunk weed.

Cigar smokers are not cool, cigar smokers are not hip and cigar smokers are not manly; they stink.

However, we are in America and if you choose to give yourself oral/lung cancer while alienating yourself; enjoy yourself while pissing off everyone around you.

P.S. your family/friends secretly hate you
Such bullshite:

You are in control of your boat.
You are in control of your speed.
You are in control of your actions.

Anything else is simply bullshite and denying responsibility for your actions.
Unfortunately, many of these fatties will find a sympathizing fat DEI physician that will write them a "physical waiver" excusing them from PT as well as the exam.

Yes but almost anything that happens as a result of the hospital visit will make it recordable. - nope - OSHA has specific rules for recordables and there are TXs that does not break those rules

Tylenol prescribed? Recordable. - not necessarily - the prescription has to be greater than the OTC strength. There are also prescription drugs that can be suggested by a physician under prescription strength and will not meet OSHAs rules to make it a recordable

Work restrictions? Recordable. Same as above, there are interpretations of the law that could be applied here

Well it did out last Denim and Diamonds (the Scott and Grand Coteau versions), the Last Roundup and The Kingfish.
Visit one that you have heard good things about, but don’t let them know that you are interested in using their services.

Upon arrival pay attention to the smell. If it smells clean then it is. If it smells like a mixture of urine and Lysol, they are trying to cover up the smell instead of actually cleaning the place.

Next, watch the CNAs interact with the patients. If they truly care for the patients, the staff will be attentive.

bc I like the name and why not.

See that’s what I’m talking about. Sometimes “why not” trumps logical reasoning.

I’m convinced and placing the order for the .338 on Monday.
Definitely a possibility; I did 8 in the Guard
Same here.

I got to shoot there a few times with LANG many moons ago. The shooting was very fun but the biggest kick for this small town coonass was watching all of the deer cross the roads throughout the night.

That's the scope I'm leaning towards. My hunting podnah stepped up to Zeiss last year, but my tight arse will not let that happen.

Thanks for the offer Beaux, but it’s the availability of the ammo that concerns me with the Wby.

They are fine shooting guns and I have a couple of other calibers in the cabinet that don’t get taken out much because of scarce ammo.

Hey HDC, the 8.6 is a nice round but while researching there were problems with finding ammo for it. The .338 appears to be a lil more available

Don’t know any about the .274 but I’m willing to learn. What scope are you using and what range are you comfortable with?

These are the answers I'm looking for!

I mostly hunt here in South Louisiana, but planning on trips to Montana and Alaska within the next five years. A local gun smith is a good friend who knows my $ range and that I would do some deerstand hunting. He's steering me towards a Savage Bear Hunter with a 23" barrel or a Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan with a 20" barrel.

The longest shot I'm currently comfortable with is in the 400yd range so I don't see the need for a longer barrel.

Now on to optics!

Hey Guys,

I lurk and read this board a lot but rarely post. I've been saving my dimes and come to you for direction. Three years ago yall gave great information on a new boat and now I'm in the market for a rifle.

I'm considering a .338 Win Mag because:
1.) I want to go on a big game hunt
b.) I've been shooting a .270 exclusively at white tails for years
%.) I want one

Trying to take the leap, talk me into it.
