‘90 911 Cab bought about 10 yrs ago in my mid 40s. Love it. Qualifies as classic for registration/insurance purposes.
Best friend is in ICU at the moment. Pancreatitis led to kidney problems and sepsis snuck in. He's been intubated for almost a week in a medically induced coma. Previously healthy guy in his mid-50s. fricking unbelievable.

It's true. All of the big national brands spend an eye watering amount on marketing which of course is passed on to the consumer. RbA has the biggest marketing budget of them all.

* Used to be in marketing. RbA spent a boatload. Dwarfed every other client by a mile regardless of product/service.

Turning some leftover steak into steak sandwiches with leftover mashed potatoes, green beans, corn.

Meat wrappings are the main culprit. We take those out to the trash separately in a plastic grocery bag the morning after dinner or whatever meal. Let the main kitchen trash bag completely fill.

Leaving clothes all around the house drives me nuts. Turns into a scavenger hunt for doing laundry or cleaning up for visitors. Not irrational to me but apparently inconceivable to the Mrs.

CSB

Went to Brooklyn ages ago with a buddy to visit his grandparents who were from Italy. Had some awesome homemade food. Learned to roll some sort of pasta. Drank their homemade wine. One of the worst hangovers and I grew up in NO. Not an inexperienced drinker. It was great but packed a punch.

Good times

Agreed, did our honeymoon in Tahiti in 2005. 3-4 nights in an overwater bungalow on Moorea. 3-4 nights in a beachfront bungalow on Bora Bora. Was so long ago pics were on a crappy cell phone and stored somewhere I don't exactly recall.

Truly a tropical paradise.

specifically we want a better/bigger beach (not one that's just in a cove).

Sugar Beach, St Lucia is on a cove. It was amazing. Very calm vs waves rolling in. Would do again.

The beach at Jade Mtn looked difficult to get to. Was that the case?

Are the rooms as unbelievable as the website shows?

We were torn between the 2 when deciding but very happy with Sugar Beach.

It’ll be ok, just go to college station and bend over
Bought one and never put it up. Fail.
Not in our rotation enough. Change is coming.

this is an expensive trip

Being away from home for weeks on end is always expensive but the exchange rate couldn’t be much better. And the quality of food there is amazing. The flights are ridiculously long but worth it. A great destination especially if you have airline miles to use.
Went on safari in '22 mostly in a truck but we stopped several times to get out. Never walked very far from the truck.

At one point while riding around, the trees started shaking back & forth. The guide knew it was an elephant. Sure enough a giant bull appears on the edge of the trees and steps onto the dirt road in front of us. Ears extended and trunk lifted. The guide, knowing elephants are usually in groups, slammed the truck into reverse and got us away from him. It was barely in time to prevent another elephant from stepping onto the road behind us.

Even the guide was a little rattled. We could have been a headline if we had gotten trapped between the second elephant and the not so happy bull. Was a very memorable experience. Safaris are amazing. Saw everything except cheetah.

And coach always emphasizes offensive production when recruiting either transfers or high schoolers. Something is not adding up. It’s beyond me.

Whichever brand you go with, satellite speakers & a sub make a huge difference. Very happy with Sonos but it wasn't cheap.
