How many people? If more than four or so, I would look into the headboat that leaves out of Wakeside Marina. I’m sure someone will chime in with the name of the boat.

I buy the point that a real, prolonged closing of the strait would cause prices to rise, but $180 seems crazy far-fetched. That's just about double today's prices.

That’s just the paper price. Physical prices have been much higher than paper. Closer to $130-150 in some places. So $180 isn’t that far fetched.

say a US missile cost 1.2 million to build and another .1 million to deliver to target for total of 1.3 million. Now if the targeting is for the 35 foot offshore boat with 3 300 hp Yamaha 's modified to carry 4 depth chargers, total value 350,000, that's is a losing return unless the two boat captain lives is worth something to Iran. Now if instead that 1.3 million dollar missile were used to knock out the generating station that supplies power to the boat shed and surrounding town with Iran's repair cost approaching 10million that would be useful work. another analogy, do not use a sidewinder missile to shoot a Houthi goat cart

You have to add in the amount of damage the small boat could inflict for a true analysis.

So if the boat can take out a tanker with 1 billion in oil on it, the 1.3 million missile used to take out the hazard is justified.
If you have rod holders, put some 3/4” pvc together and make an arch.
The guys that have to climb those crazy high towers to change the light.

The guys that do the high voltage work from helicopters.
Real San marzanos from that part of Italy will say D. O. P. On the can
My understanding is that they needed this cash to bolster the reserves because they could not get bonds (loans).

Anyone know of someone who sharpens Reels? SE LA (north shore).
Isn’t this malfeasance? I’m mean they can’t be totally unaccountable when they make decisions like this.
As a strategy, would it make sense to start a business to assist in managing tax burden?

A real business.
My bonus next year will be huuuuuge!!

Thanks Donnie.

Just to simplify, if we cut off the oil to everyone else, (A) who is going to buy American manufactured products if we shut down their economies? (B) It is typically less costly and faster to export oil (say, from Texas) to a foreign country than to move it via pipeline (say, from Texas) or ship to a refinery on the east coast. (C) If global prices are significantly higher than domestic prices, companies will export to maximize profit for their shareholders. (D) A great amount of the oil produced in the U.S. is "light and sweet," which is easier to sell to foreign refineries than it is to adapt U.S. facilities to use it.

(E) not to mention all of the products that can be made from heavy sour crude vs. shale oil, e.g. asphalt, bunker, coke etc. & base oils for lubricants
The dude catches rockets with chopsticks. I think he can figure out how to build a tunnel in NOLA. Especially since there are two already in existence for the last 50+ years.
