My last employer based your insurance cost on you income. I was paying 4x what the housekeeper was paying despite being statistically much much less likely to have a chronic health issue.

Sure! GLP-1’side effects should fill that gap and thin that herd a bit.

Food companies are already experimenting on ingredients that will entice people to eat even if they’re using GLP-1s.
GLP-1s are also disrupting the food and restaurant industries.

What benefit does that do to take it proactively? Serious question, I didn't know people did that.

To me this is a fabulous revelation. Maybe the crappy healthcare industry can tidy up, restructure, and get on with IMPROVING their business model and overall service.
I have been to several hospitals over the past to or three years. Sadly, many looked like scenes from a 3rd world country. Without a doubt King Obama's crowning achievement of Obamacare has wrought chaos industry wide in healthcare.

No, they are perfectly legal. Mostly available to the self-employed. There are also self-funded options that are available for businesses that are underwritten making them a less expensive option.

It is fascinating to see how a pharmaceutical class can rapidly disrupt entire medical sectors and hospital revenue models centered around treating obesity. The drop in bariatric surgery volumes shows just how quickly patient choices are shifting.
