If you are not sure of the commitment, etc., adopt or foster a couple of dogs from the local animal shelter. It will in many ways require time and emotions like newborns.
With regards to kids, you will do fine. You just have to give up alot of 'me and we' stuff. You & your wife's life for the next two decades will or should revolve around your kids. BUT, the best part of kids is in a couple of decades hopefully you will be BLESSED with GRANDKIDS. It is the BEST feeling in the world. Nothing else comes close. Prayers for you and your wife!

I was a finance major. Eighty to ninety percent of your success will come as a result of your attitude and what you are made of. If you are a grinder, motivated, and get up twice as fast when you are knocked down, you will do well. Far too many young adults today feel entitled, are weak, and don't look inward. I think it is just the unreasonable expectations of the Tiger Nation creating too much hype. We all need to get over 'IT'. 'IT' being our unreasonable expectations for a group of talented young men. Given LSU Baseball's level of success over the previous five years, it was highly probable that a drop off would occur this year or next. It happens to champions in football. It happens to champions in basketball. It happens in ALL sports. Lets face it, it happened to LSU Baseball this year! Cheers! :cheers:

I grew up in the mid and latter 60s & the 70s. We always had a station wagon. Great memories of sitting in the rear area with my little brother.

Do yourself and your family a favor. Go to the doctor annually. Go to the dentist a little more frequently than nearly never. One day you will need one and you may not be able to get an appointment because you are not a patient of theirs.
