Now, couple that with people will gain more energy, do more activities and have more frequent activity exercise injuries, so care will shift.
But with some of the advanced medical diagnostic and therapeutic development, such as inventing enzymes that if administered have the potential to eliminate hardening of the arteries, restore elasticity to human skin (keeping youthful looking), aiding in the body's ability to restore blood flow and oxygen rich blood to older adults, contributing to greater energy and health vitality, then add in highly focused ultrasound waves elimination of cancerous growths, the medical industry is starting to shift away from treating the symptoms of aging and towards preventative care for life.
I was really curious about the ultrasound devices that eliminated a lump in a man's brain that was causing Parkinson shakes, and found out that insurance rarely covers this, opting instead to treat with drugs and radiation, even though the ultrasound is extremely effective in many cases. lf the insurers were really looking to the future of their bottom line, then the short and quick fix would seem to me to be less than a lifetime of treatments and the patients experiencing the sickness that accompanies radiation therapy, unless of course, the insurance companies would just prefer you die first before it gets to the costly ultrasound treatment.

Insurance companies should be paying for anyone asking for GLP-1. Paying for pills for a while is much cheaper than heart procedures, cancer treatments, etc.

Now do heart disease. At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theory loon, I don't believe for a second there's not a drug that can dissolve arterial plaque. But it would destroy a multibillion industry overnight.

That’s it! The government will soon ban them and blame it on an obscure health risk

AWESOME!!!! Keep it coming!!!! Run all of these predatory dickheads out of business. Cut government funding as well.

Can use the savings from Government HC programs to pay down the debt?

So they are basically admitting they don’t give a shite about fixing the problem, just generating as much revenue as possible.
Seems like a violation of the Hippocratic Oath.

Wait. There are people here that has told us that GLP-1s are a waste of time and you fatty’s should just do it the natural way and haul potato sacks in the fields to lose weight and not be lazy.
These numbers are clearly wrong and the gym bros here know exactly what they’re talking about. Especially in the health care industry.

Still waiting to see what the long term side effects will turn out to be. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t these GLP1s an injectable solution that you have to take forever?

Thats a byproduct of your body being less able to heal/repair damage within the artery walls less so than a simple buildup of plaque. The first step is getting your body to heal itself....which is less effective the older you get.
The biggest issue with our healthcare system is that it still targets symptoms instead of the root cause....which is AGING.
There's a lot of wealthy people that have already come around to this fact and have invested in anti-aging companies.
Look at every single disease across the spectrum....heart...cancer...neurological....etc.
It is ALWAYS and FAR AND AWAY more prevalent among older people. Its not a coincidence at all.

History is going to look back on “weight loss surgery” procedures similar to the way we look at bloodletting today. Disgusting, barbaric, and foolish.

I think they're coming out in pill form now and they're even more effective but who knows.
I know a woman who was a big time fatty who dropped a ton of weight and changed her whole lifestyle. She's training to run a marathon next April.
She has a vial of it in her fridge and told me if the weight starts creeping up she will micro dose occasionally but again who knows the actual truth.

Where is the part about them bitching? Seems like they are just stating facts.

They have pills now
This is going to be a game changer. Not only is the handling of pills easier (no refrigeration), they are also much easier for generic manufacturers to replicate. The prices are high now, but in 10-15 years the price on GLP-1’s should drop significantly.
