Grew up with a serial killer. I didn't go to his house nor did he come to my house. But would talk to him if we were in the same space. In class he would just stare right thru people and not say a thing. He was full on weirdo as everyone could tell. I didn't think anyone at the time could be a serial killer. I was wrong.

Two of my sons gave a ride to a local whose car ran in a ditch. He lived 1/2 mile from us and he was about 3/4s of a mile away from his house. They stopped to see if he was ok and he just needed a ride back to his house. A week later he shot his wife and 2 kids, ran off with his druggie GF, dropped her off 3 days later and he drove to a secluded spot near the Warrior River and shot himself. That’s all I got.

They said he was funny and he told a couple of jokes.

In a previous life I was a coach & 2 players I coached killed 2 cops. One had pro talent but decided to "be about dat life"

A guy I went to school with, at 11, killed a man who broke into their home about to rape his mom. He was a local hero for awhile. Obviously self defense & not murder. Messed him up though, got into drugs & trashed out.

I had a basketball teammate in HS that killed his grandfather about 7 or so years after school. He was robbing the house and the GF came hime and ended up killing him. He got like 20 years or so.

It's disturbing the amount of dirt bags who are free, especially a guy like Clay people posted about.

I had a gf who used to hang around a group of dummies she went to school with. I knew them each well enough. A few years later he and 2 of his buddies killed a bar owner who lived down the street from me. Completely coincidental. He's in for life w/o parole in Angola.

A good friend of mine (at that time) stabbed his brother in the head and killed him. Apparently the brother attacked him or something, the full story was never really known. It was really weird hanging out with him after that and unsurprisingly, he was different. Eventually that group of friends somewhat disbanded by different life stages.

Yes. I visit him in Angola occasionally. I don’t condone what he did but I’m not his judge. I’m his true friend. We all have a breaking point. He obviously reached his.

He was very special needs and seemed harmless. After graduation his girlfriend got pregnant and she lied to him about the baby not being his.

Was the wife "normal"?

A sheriff's deputy, high ranking that snapped and murdered his GF. He always gave me the creeps.

LINK

I think she was breaking it off with him and he found out she was seeing another man.

Marlon Howell was one grade ahead of me in high school. He was the gunman and my classmates Adam and Curtis were with him. All 3 smoked a bunch of crack late one night and went looking for someone to rob early in the AM. Murdered my best girlfriend's grandfather who was out delivering newspapers. Capital crime and Marlon should have been put to death at Parchmen by now but he has a bunch of stupid, Liberal social justice warriors who have decided he was at home alseep in his bed when it happened and he's a victim. Adam and Curtis are both serving long prison terms as well. Marlon Howell is not innocent. He murdered a Federal employee in cold blood in broad daylight.

My dad shot his girlfriend in the face in our kitchen over $80 when I was 15. I have relived that day thousands of times in my head. He died in prison a few years ago.

Yep, but he got away with it by claiming self-defense with no other witnesses. Killed the Jody that was banging his old lady

Over the years I worked with 2 guys that did the murder/suicide thing.

First one caught his 2nd wife having an affair, but she didn't realize she was caught. He put one in her head while in bed together and then did the same to himself.

Second guy took his wife out for a ride in the country on the premise of looking for land to retire on. They found their burned out car with 2 bodies inside after they didn't return home.

The investigation showed he shot her, poured gasoline inside the car, closed the door and then shot himself. The gunshot lit the gas fumes and burned them to a crisp.

Crazy stuff.

Yes. Wasn't shocked that he killed someone, just shocked and saddened who he killed though.
