Life is hard. It’s supposed to be
ADAPT
Affording a house takes two incomes usually. Young people today are not getting married.
Pay your dues. Do the time. Quit playing video games. Live within your means. Get off social media. Quit drinking. Join a gym. Go to church.

Get off my lawn.

Does jerking off count?
Everybody here shits on Dave. I promote his book all the time when trying to mentor younger people.

I just received my license plate renewal. Is the value of the vehicle what determines the price of the renewal?

The owner Mr Pepper passed away. Think the family lost interest. They had limited hours.
Worked 40 years as a Plant Baw. Don’t need the money. My investments make me more than when I worked. Originally thought I’d work event staff for LSU. Thought it was volunteer work. It pays an hourly rate which means to me that I have to be obligated to a schedule. I don’t want or need obligations.
Once you are debt free, day to day living isn’t that expensive.
Earnings wise it was one of my best years ever. Net worth wise was another story. Now I view it as a learning experience. When people were fearing another depression, I stayed put and maxed out contributions to my 401k. Best decision ever financially. Live and learn.

If you pay off the house and get debt free, day to day living is manageable. Speaking from experience.

Be sure to test ride anything before buying. I did not when I bought a Tahoe. Roughest ride ever. Pay attention to the deadrise spec. Tahoe flattened out in the back giving the harsh ride. I had a Wellcraft years ago that rode like a dream. Champion as well. Great design all the way back.
