I like the gentle scents of candles like “Fall Farmhouse” or “Backyard Bonfire”. I get these at Walmart at about $5 a pop. They produce very mild scents that are pleasing to my senses.

I agree with the OP about the strong air fresheners. Those are terrible. The worse is anything lavender with a strong flower type smell. Those are terrible.

I coached a group of HS ball players at 16 years old who wanted to play a few tournaments. One of my players was an expert at deciphering the other teams’ signals. Man, he was awesome at it. To Ryan B.
If I did not have family available and nearby in my current scenarios, then yes I could do that.

At one time back in the day, I had $1.26 left in my checking account, until payday. There was a series of unfortunate events that led up…..or down…..to that.

I believe that to be a true statement. Everything is on the barrel.

CSB, softball back in the day. I know it’s just softball but it was in a competitive league in B class….really good softball teams. Played 3 games and was 7-9 with the 7 being home runs to left and left center. Long ones. Anywho, thanks for the memories.
Andouille,
Thanks for that message! I’m approaching 73 and each day am reminded how fortunate it is to have working senses, limbs, etc., as we age. Prayers offered for you as you move forward in life.

Neighbor had one installed when he built his house in preparation or his mother to live with them. She moved in then passed away shortly afterwards so they only used it a few times. Seemed to be pricey but worked as intended.

re: LSU on SECN+ not showing up

On Roku I have to go to ESPN+ then search LSU and there it is. Some times just scrolling on baseball games on ESPN+ doesn’t yield an LSU game.
Teacher took 2 solid strokes very well.

CSB…. 10+ years ago at the local HS scenario per one of my sons.

If a fight between students broke out, coach Shaw, who was built like a tank would outright tackle the duo and pin the most aggressive one. The students would give up. Once a year coach Shaw goes into the weight room during football weight training and out lift everyone. Word in school was to not fight when he was there. Once a huge DL actually confronted Coach Shaw and bam, the young man submits when he hits the floor. We never heard of any kickback on him getting physical with students. But, things have changed a lot since then.
Nice solid stroke to win it! I didn’t see a head stomping victory celebration though!
I worked with a guy who was married and had 2 daughters under the age of 10. Found out he was doing drag shows in a B’ham club on weekends. An article about the drag stuff came out in the local newspaper and had his name in it. Within 6 months he was divorced, lost his job, and moved on but continued the drag stuff according to coworkers.

Rapidly progressive dementia (RPD) refers to dementia that progresses Very fast and can kill you in a few months. My MIL was affected with dementia and within a month was definitely batty, then often asked where she was and what she was supposed to be doing? She moved to saying that she didn’t know who she was, and went through hours of just being quiet (used to be a big talker), then was tortured by repeated unexplained thoughts and movements. She was dead in 3 months. Very sad!
I spend an hour and 15 mins but I will perform a set of whatever, quickly walk 2 laps around the weight room on a small track (23 laps to a mile), then perform the next set, repeat the walking between each. I’ll get a mile and a half in, work muscle groups, and keep moving. If someone wants to work in, I let them.

But, I do see people hogging a machine or space and spend waaaay too much time in one spot.

Then you have the guy who puts his water bottle on one bench, his hoodie at another station, and won’t share either spot if someone wants to work in. Booooooo that guy

I use a boron supplement but also take additional vitamins and supplements e1ch day. I added boron about 4-5 months ago. I noticed nothing different except a more yellow urine tint so I am just using up the rest of them daily.

re: Craftsman Lifetime Warranty Issue

Posted by Yewkindewit on 4/24/25 at 10:41 am
I have two Craftsmen sets of mechanic’s tools and both of the 1/4 inch ratchets included in the set had the tabs/selectors break.

Back in the day Sears and Roebuck would just trade a tool on the spot when one of mine broke. Breaking was rare. Then they would trade a used one that was repaired for my used one. I haven’t yet tried recently.
25 total hits. Bats come alive at least for one game and win bigly! :geauxtigers:
I usually return my carts back into the store at Publix. Occasionally, somewhere else, I may just put it in a cart return area. Better than leaving out in the open -> trashy.
Depends where that data is collected. Everyone I know over 70, including me, says they voted for Trump with one exception, a person in academia. Therefore, I think his approval is 50+ for most of us older fellas.
Well, you will remember the smell of cauterizing the incision. I do. And, the first ejaculation afterwards was outstanding. I did notice less fluid ongoing.

I don’t know what others experience because it wasn’t a normal topic in my crowd.
