There seems to be a lot of concern over that trend.

Why does it matter? I'm not saying it doesn't. But money coming in from outside usually indicates a healthy economy and a growing tax base. Why isn't that a good thing?

Not just her store in that building, there is residential above it.

Also, supposedly, her space is going to be taken over by the gumbo shop next door which will expand into it.
