I never heard if the rumors were true and I know that once she chimed in on a few of those original threads back then I don't think she's been back.
She works her arse off and seems like a cool chick, so I don't care to bring up the rumor mill again.

Her tweet was interesting, yet annoying. She alludes to a few things, but chose to be rather cryptic. If you're going to hit Facebook and Twitter in full attention attention whore mode in an attempt to garner sympathy, state your case clearly and save your cryptic bullshite.
She states that the building sold for $2.1 million, which was $400,000 over it's value. Who's determining value here? Does Laurenn have a side gig as a commercial real eastate appraiser when she isn't selling t-shirts? Was it listed below FMV at $1.7 million to generate immediate interest? In any case, what difference does it make? It was worth $2.1 million to the buyer.
She also makes comments to "Pay attention" and about "bidders we can't possibly compete with". She isn't the first person to get priced out of a property in NO I the past 10 years. At least it was only one of her six retail locations and not her primary residence, like many renters have experienced since Katrina.
It's probably Motwani. Maybe Trashanova Torres. They both seem to be trying to buy the entire FQ.
