Crazy thing is India is at 1.9 births per female which is slightly below replacement level. Young people every where (except Africa) aren’t making love like they used to.

I do think that Congo will have less of an ability to provide for itself than the US did. But FWIW, the US population grew from 5,308,483 in 1800 to 50,189,209 in 1880. Not that much different than the Congo in a similar length of time.
