Mississippi State has by far the nicest grass I've ever seen, anywhere. It's incredible. Their turfgrass ag/science program is the leader in the nation.
And yet, they have to result to signing professional athletes to field a competitive team....

Where is the outrage for Indiana and the two players they wanted to add to the roster that are now ineligible

(1) They are now ineligible again.

(2) They were not professional athletes with an NFL contract. Nor had they ever signed a professional contract.

NFL just loves this.

I said it the other day, but I would not be surprised one bit if the NFL tries passing a rule to put an end to this. They cannot be happy they are being outbid by colleges for practice squad / depth chart pieces.
No idea.

Of the two currently in the NFL, Williams seems more likely than not to make the Cardinals.

From what I can see in the court documents, Wright joined the lawsuit the day after the Eagles cut him. But he was then offered a contract by the Browns and accepted it so no idea what he's thinking l.
Of the 3 Ole Miss players, 2 are currently on an NFL roster
Would certainly seem to put that lawsuit at risk, but impossible to guess what am individual judge would do at this point
No, really it's just screw guys who have played professionally and now want to return to college.

No particular issue with guys who never played professionally - like Pavia and the 100+ guys who got 5th, 6th, hell even 9th years like that.
Sure, one lawsuit can change everything in an instant.

But thus far, conferences enforcing their own rules have held up to legal challenges.
Excited to see the future stars of college football lineup tonight.

We need Pete back on the board
The lengths Lane Kiffin will go to because he's realized he's unhappy with his team just 2 weeks from the start of the season...
Sankey is right to do this. Just as he was in the Alabama case. And hopefully in this pro-football situation.

per sec rules none of these guys can transfer to any sec school. Think espn said none of these guys will ever play in the sec again due to rules they signed

Harris: injuries and currently like 50 pounds over weight. No idea what he's going to do. Whether here or elsewhere I wouldn't bank on him providing anything meaningful for a while into the season.

Wright: doesn't sound like we're interested. SEC rules prevent anything in conference. One random team I've heard with him is Georgia Tech.

Williams: currently wants to bet on himself in the NFL. Any return to college seems unlikely. If he returns, it sounds like it would be back to Ole Miss.

hope Sankey holds firm on no transfers within conference

If the discussion about SEC "breaking away" and doing their own thing is serious, they should. If the SEC also cannot enforce their own internal rules, the whole reason for breaking away falls apart.

What's your basis for assuming they wouldn't have entered the draft anyways? Blind faith?
