re: Massive sinkholes appearing in Turkey’s farmland

Experts pinpoint climate change, drought and extensive groundwater extraction as the primary causes behind these massive sinkholes
I bet those kids were happy he had them though.
re: A new study has shown that Raccoons are showing early signs of domestication

quote:weird. I use to trap squirrels in my backyard so they wouldn’t eat all my pecans. One morning I found the remains of a squirrel in the cage. Just his furry skin was left in a pile, and his skinned skull. The cage was moved over about 10 ft also. I never knew what killed the squirrel in the trap, but maybe it was a raccoon?
Nasty animals. The raccoons in my yard eat the squirrels that I trap. They can reach into the trap and totally decapitate and devour them. Sometimes they may leave a portion of a leg but usually I just find some random squirrel fur left.

LSU’s offensive lineman looked like big slow guys. The defensive guys were quick enough to go around them. I’ve read that back in the 60’s and 70’s used to sign smaller quicker offensive linemen. Maybe we should go back to that.
I’m sure the folks at Ole Miss will resent the hell out of LSU. I’m sure they will be fired up to play LSU, and root against us mainly because of resentment towards Lane Kiffin. Just adds to the rivalry in my opinion.

Now all we need is some top notch QB and OL portal transfers to make next year special!
re: Do you eat your turkey and/or dressing with a bite of cranberries?

Thanks for the idea. I like cranberry sauce, next time I’ll try that.
re: Shough and Moore Going Forward

I don’t know about the play calling, but I do think Shough is doing all he can do. He’s not getting much help either.
Will I go to heaven? Man I hope so!
If you could know the answer to one question, what would it be?
Posted by Cycledude on 11/22/25 at 5:39 pm
Could be anything from who wins this years Super Bowl, to who’s really responsible for JFK getting shot, or when will I die? Of course there’s one big question I think most people would choose.

I’d love to see Eli Holstein come back home to Louisiana. He wouldn’t have to worry about Walker Howard anymore. It would make a good story.

You’re in for a long battle, but don’t give up trying to help her. Hopefully she will mature enough to start getting better. Pray to Saints for their help praying for your daughter. It worked for my son. I don’t know if it was the maturity or prayers or both, but don’t give up on her.
Shough showing some ability!

I like the way he moves around in the pocket when under pressure and is accurate on his throws!
Here’s a suggestion. Get you a twenty gallon tank and fill it with pond water. Then net you some baby perch, catfish, etc. and put them in the tank. Start with fish food and when they grow start feeding them worms. They are hardy little fish!
It does seem like Coach Kelly approached the LSU job like a manager. Put assistants under him and let them handle the individual players. I think you have to be a little more personal with the players if you want their respect. I know Jay Johnson is not like that.
Woodworth is not a coach. Let the expert handle what he was hired for (Kelly).
Why should the Athletic Director dictate to his coach what moves to make?
Posted by Cycledude on 10/26/25 at 8:15 pm
Woodworth hired him to be the Head Coach. Let Kelly do his job as he sees fit. Maybe dictate how many wins he needs to keep his job, but not what moves he needs to make.

You don’t think he was genuinely frustrated? He had to be.
I’ve been hearing about cures for over 40 years. I’ll believe it when I actually see it cure someone I know, and not just a few hairs!

3 men and 1 woman in their late 20’s and early 30’s. Must have been fentanyl related.
I wonder how sea otter tastes? Maybe they should start hunting them to keep their population under control. Otter sausage, Otter Gumbo, Ottor nuggets, etc.
