Mung, you’re right. I did a poor job of explaining what I meant. I’m saying I believe our government built up this huge debt is because of the U.S. annual trade deficits with other countries that we’ve had since 1976. If we hadn’t lost so much manufacturing, there would be more money staying here and circulating in our economy. This would drive up tax revenues helping the U.S. government towards balancing the budget.
What are croakies?

I believe the biggest part of it is because the annual trade deficit we’ve had since 1976.
The overall United States international trade deficit in 2025 was $901.1 billion, representing a minor 0.2% decrease from $903.2 billion in 2024 according to official U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) data.
You can’t have that much money leaving the country every year and not cause problems.

I’ve been seeing this work on Florida Blvd. There is a regular size (about 3 ft wide) sidewalk being laid a few feet away from all the shoulder work being done. It seems pretty nice actually, and I bet there will be a lot of scooters and e-bikes using them when it’s finished.

Remember when Elon Musk tried to scrub the budget to get things under control. He faced resistance and backlash from all over. People want a balanced budget, but they want other people to make the sacrifices. We have no one to blame but ourselves ( or maybe the gutless politicians).

I certainly don’t think he will apologize. Sure that would be the classy thing to do. He did seem to have a cockiness about him while at LSU. However, he was one of the quickest fastest players I ever saw play.

Just watched this and I’d recommend it to anybody. It’s pretty informative and eye opening. Anyone else see it?
Just because other players will where the same number you did , it doesn’t remove the memory of you and your greatness on the field. But you have to be practical. There’s only so many numbers to use.

Now now. Why all the negativity? You guys assume this buyer pilfered some of the blow before reporting it to police. Then you assume the police are going to keep some for themselves. Maybe they were all honest people doing the right thing. The O.T. I tell ya!
