people losing their shite over an extra dollar or two per fill up is kinda wild.
We literally did this with Biden and any other president for the last 25-30 years

I voted for Trump twice. Its okay to admit he is doing pretty shitty this go round. But thats what happens when you keep putting fricking 80 year olds in office
What’s insane is that THIS is considered a crazy take on this website
Most of my family voted for Trump on the basis of making everything more affordable…welp

The average American is poor as shite. They can't afford an extra $50/month for anything.
The average American is stupid with their money. I talked a guy who goes through a carton of cigarettes a week and puts down a minimum of 12 beers a night tell me with a straight face that he can't afford health insurance then the next week shows up with new rims on his truck that he can't afford ,but is paying 20% interest. People don't want to live according to their income and tend to make stupid and emotional decisions. Sadly, that is the norm.

Maybe not, this ad has had me secretly wanting a '99 Corolla for the last 8 years:

In the end, I hate boring cars, but they have their place.

Gas is a necessity, therefore according to the Dems, it should be free.

You cannot POSSIBLY think the only impact gas prices have for a person is the amount they spend on a tank of gas. It has a direct impact on energy bills, food, clothing, and just about everything else you pay for.
I’d be shocked if you were not complaining about gas prices and inflation during the last administration.
Gas prices fluctuate. It is a part of life. But the people that rationalized higher prices four years ago are complaining about them now. And the people complaining four years ago are rationalizing them now. It is comical how people’s opinions completely change on the exact topic depending on who is in office.
this... all of it

I understand why the cost of gas is a critical measurement, but I can't say I've paid attention to the ebss and flows of the price of a gallon since I got a real job.
Yeah why would anyone pay attention to the price of the most important global commodity in the world that impacts every world government and industry which wars have been started and fought over

I bet political affiliation and who is POTUS at the time have a lot to do with it.

So fuel price increases only have an effect at the pump…?

Ironically the same people who are losing their shite now, said Biden don’t affect prices when it jumped under his watch
I’m fully aware of the reason for this jump

I get it. Seems today though vehicles are becoming a luxury, along with just existing. My car is long paid for and eventually I’ll need another. I dread that day.
Posted on 5/4/26 at 7:46 am to SidewalkTiger
Now do long-haul trucks and delivery vehicles.
No point in getting irrational about it, but I remember a time in my life when I lived paycheck to paycheck, and a $50 per month direct increase, not to mention indirect increases, was difficult.

I complained when gas was high under Biden, and I will complain now because I'm not a hypocrite. But the hoops you PT bros will jump through to defend your boy is hilarious. You retards were bitching about eggs, gas, milk, etc. 2 years ago. Not a peep on prices now

Ironically the same people who tell everyone we should stop losing our shite now made a huge deal out of higher gas prices when Biden was in office. It works both ways dawg.
Not to mention prices today are the highest we have ever seen.

Really retarded post. That dollar increase creates a ripple effect across the country. I’m not going to explain what a 5 second google search could easily describe. I’m not rich by any means, but I’m not struggling to survive right now either. There are plenty of working class families struggling and I feel bad for them.
