No doubt. If there was a hurricane or BP went fricking with wellheads again I would 100% blame those. Not sure why a President avoids the critique when he went bombing people without an exit plan.

Because my vehicle is 21 years old, runs like a top, is perfect for me right now, and I like it. Insurance is also cheap.

So I'm just supposed to walk into a dealership and spend $20k on a used car because you don't think I should be complaining about gas prices? Go frick your mother.

We each fill up once a week

Went from $45 a fill up to $70 a fill up for both vehicles

Thats $50 a week or $200 a month.

When you are getting nickel and dimed for everything else, shite gets old.

I voted for Trump twice. Its okay to admit he is doing pretty shitty this go round. But thats what happens when you keep putting fricking 80 year olds in office

It is sad that you don't have a 21 year old vehicle and a new one. That was the American dream. A new car and a classic of your choosing.

There's no reason for a politician to ever die of old age in office. We need a maximum age of 65, maybe 70 for every single elected official and judge.

Just saying. I have a 21 year old car (may love the older car more) and a "new" one.

Im not special or anything but just saying you have 2+ cars these days is like saying you ball out. Realizing how bad most of society is when it comes to income is pretty eye opening.

The average American doesn’t understand global economics but there are certain barometers they use that triggers alarms that things are out of whack. A 20% spike is gas prices is one of those barometers.

I actually somewhat followed this model when I was single.

I had a "cool" vehicle that I liked, stayed in the garage, drove it on weekends and nice days. Usually a truck or classic car or something.

Then I'd have a 10 or 15 year old Toyota Camry that I daily drove and just kept liability insurance on. Worked well for me, plus I had two vehicles in case one needed work.

Yep. But it will never get passed because it would mean they would have to cut off the gravy train for themselves

the same idiots complaining about spending $25 more a month on gas are dropping $150 on their favorite non famous reality tv show cast member for a cameo or spending $10 on a tik tok cookie in river ranch or dropping $20 for a superior marg on a tuesday night.

AOC has been a gem, for sure. The youth lead the way, right?

It's fine to criticize Trump for the current situation, just wasn't really what I was talking about.

I had 2 cars once upon a time. The new one was still 10 years old.

I'm not much of a car guy. I want something dependable and comfortable. My full size suv is both. When it finally kicks the bucket, I'll find the most reliable full size truck I can afford with a small note.

The wife is going to get the most reliable and affordable suv we can manage.

Nah, my mother is dead.

I don't really care what people do, I'm just saying I don't understand why people focus on gas prices so much when they generally blow more money in other areas of their life and don't seem to care.

If that isn't you, then it's not directed at you.

I only drive it for work, commutes, etc.

I had 5 vehicles until last month, now down to 4. Trying to get to 3. Tired of all the maintenance.

Will probably switch my work car to some type of SUV, maybe a Rav4 or Highlander. Someone was recommending Subarus the other day.

I know my case is extreme and temporary, but I drive about 95 miles each way to work. (In a full size truck). I dint let things like gas bother me but I get 5% cash back for gas and I noticed I got back a little over 12 dollars last week. Meaning I spent 240 in gas for 1 week of work.

Sounds stupud but Ive only been doing it about 2 months and the end of it is near is why I havemt gotten a work car. Honestly the miles on my truck bother me more than the gas money because it seems like the money is gonna be gone one way or another anyways.

Most predictions are this will last until Q1 of next year. So purchase accordingly.
