I bet Venezuelans celebrating in the streets pisses you off. Good luck

Absolutely not. I said very early I supported this. Was simply pointing out the hypocrisy. If I would have said 3 years ago that we should take out Maduro, I would have been tarred and feathered, labeled as a swampy RINO and dismissed.

I agree. My whole point was if this were anyone else from Clinton to Biden and everyonein between, the cult would be crying. It's true. And now the cult is trying to act like they care about Venezuela and it's citizens? I recall statements like 'shite hole," and " why should we care about 3rd world countries?". There's a reason the hard-core MAGA movement is viewed as a cult. They're fricking hypocrites who follow Donnie's moves no questions asked

Someone doesn't like that people are pointing out the hypocrisy of the MAGA movement. Trying to shut this thread down

I love how nobody in the cult can respond to the hypocrisy charges. The talking points have been issued obviously

Either way hopefully this turns out better for Venezuela.

While probably true I was told by MAGA that we didn't care about shite hole 3rd world countries or their citizens

I mean, I totally agree but that's because I lean neocon when it comes to foreign policy. MAGA was decidedly not that, and a few years ago if you asked Trump's base if we should bomb Venezuela and forcibly remove their president in the middle of the night you'd be called a war loving commie neocon/dem.

That was the point I was trying to make

Maybe, maybe not. I can tell you that as someone who tries to understand real politik, this was a good move and I would have applauded it if it had been made by Zohran Mamdami.

I want to believe you because I enjoy your "this day in" history posts, but I know that's not true for the majority of MAGA

Regime change for the sake of regime change is one thing; regime change for the sake of preventing our two greatest geopolitical foes from entrenching themselves in the Americas is another issue entirely. But by all means, let's allow the Chinese and the Russians to establish friendly bases in the Caribbean where they are in easy reach of Puerto Rico, Guantanamo Bay, and the U.S. Gulf coast.

I agree. But I guarantee you if anyone besides Trump did this, the MAGA crowd would be crying as much as the anti-maga crowd is now. I'm just trying to point out the hypocrisy.

It doesnt matter if it's Biden, Obama, or Trump's strikes the fact of the matter is you are not in a senior military intelligence role to be able to remotely come close to the details behind this operation.

That's a fair point. But we were told by the cult that this President was different, but seems he's doing the same old things we've always been doing
