I recently did an Outlast race (1 5k every hour for 6 hours) and the "Hyrox bros" were the weirdest group.

They all wore white backwards hats, no shirts, black shorts. Most had mustaches. And they all spent the race yelling into their phones, presumably filming content.

On the last lap, I tripped on a root and fell pretty hard (it was dark) and I stopped on the side of the trail to gather myself, and one of the Hyrox bros runs up to me and starts yelling at me to keep going and calling me "Big Dog" and shite. I had to tell him to leave me alone.

First time I've experienced them.

Out on a run or in a private place, keep going. But in public, in an enclosed space with other people using the same space, no you shouldn't have to quit or be disqualified, accidents happen. But you have to take a few minutes to get cleaned up and it shouldn't take some rule to tell someone that.

I really have no more words except what happened to human decency? This is what animals in the wild do, not humans who are members of functioning societies that value health and cleanliness.

Then there's your answer. Hell No, she shouldn't have quit.

Marathoners and Ironman/Half Ironman competitors have had these challenges before as well, and they power through.

She should have been removed and cleaned up before she can return. It's a public health issue.

And that's the very reason N.O. put rules in place for the horse/mule drawn carriages where they had to put a catch bag on the arse end of the animal to help keep horse crap off the streets.

I’m not going to lie. This is exactly the impression of them that I get.
