there have been some wild takes on this. I've seen quite a few female "athletes" saying that she isn't to blame and that hyrox is responsible for not having a rule in place stating that you can't shite yourself and spread it all over the place.

What happened to her is not uncommon.
Hyrox did not stop her.
She did not ignore a posted rule that I know of. Had she done so I imagine she would have been DQ’d.

On one hand, I understand that this is her career and winning these events are significant paydays, not to mention sponsorships that come from them
but on the other than hand, this has to hurt her marketability a little bit, no?

Was it against Hyrox rules to continue the race with poo streaming down your legs?
If it was against Hyrox rules, disqualify her.
If it wasn’t, Hyrox has some changes and improvements to make.

But it is also certainly not common for elite athletes to shite themselves in competition.

But in Hyrox, everything is indoors and you're alternating between running and multiple workout stations with equipment that everyone shares. How are the other competitors supposed to avoid getting her diarrhea all over themselves when she's shitting and dripping all over an event like this?

I’d bet about 3% of the population can even budge the sled. Now add in running sub 6 minute mile paces to be elite.
It’s a running race but you have to be a unit to be competitive in Hyrox
Note: the company itself sucks balls

The Rules should be amended to Require and Command immediate and absolute Disqualification and immediate removal from the site of competition to a place where medical attention is obtained.
