Diarrhea-soaked Hyrox athlete divides internet over whether she should have quit

It may be the stinkiest debate of the year.
A Hyrox athlete has divided the internet after losing control of her bowels mid-race and refusing to stop, raising questions about whether she should have hung up her diarrhea-splattered sneakers rather than power through to the finish line.
Joanna Wietrzyk, a 24-year-old Australian, was caught on camera running, rowing and lunging through the Beijing fitness competition over the weekend as fecal matter streamed down her legs — and somehow still managed to clinch first place.
I had a buddy go through a similar incident yesterday...had to clench his cheeks for miles while driving...but made it. Not sure why this woman could not clench.

Seriously though. That's absolutely disgusting, and I don't understand anyone defending her

That shite has been going on for years...

Did it impede other athletes in any way? I lean towards automatic disqualification, but, in the moment, if the other competitors could do their thing on a clean, dry track and clean, dry equipment, then there's not much to be done.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

Ever think clenching while sitting is a lot easier than running full out, Mr couch potato?

She worked hard to get to that race, had what it took to win it. As shocking as it is, bowel issues and runners aren’t exactly unheard of.

She should have been removed and cleaned up before she can return. It's a public health issue. They take bleeding athletes out of games and get them patched up. This was a hindrance to other athletes competing near her.

Reading this while taking a dump & this is still my reaction

Article says her diarrhea splatters caused several athletes to fall and equipment had to be sanitized. On those grounds I think she should have been disqualified.

That is disgusting and also a bio hazard. Just so fricking nasty.

Hryox is dumb and anyone who does it is weird. The founder of Hryox even thinks the people are dumb.

GTFO. This is more than just running. It's using equipment others are using. This is fricking gross and teh epitome of today's selfish look at me culture.
