Dude has played 90 playoff games and missed 2 due to injury (both this series). What the F are you talking about?

Frail Cale needs to come back. Of course my futures are on the Avs and this Knights team that limped along all season long is knocking on the door of the SCF.
lol sickening loss, needed that insurance run with Abrams
I watched the first season and thought it was decent. Are the rest good?
Listen the Nats have done some dumb trades recently and I can see them trading CJ, but if they trade Wood this season..the fanbase would revolt.

Man that scene where she gets up from the table :ahh:

Also her outfits for that date and the party were :pimp: a true baddie

Spoilers

And that phone call makes it sound like she’s a prisoner being held captive somewhere which is really creepy and disturbing and added a nice layer to it on top of her already seemingly being trapped in her own body (the random snap backs to reality were so timely and jarring)

 was coming to this thread to post exactly this

One of the funniest lines in movie history. was that improvised? Sizemore’s laugh seems genuine in that scene

Was it in episode 1 where they did like a camera pan to a locked room several feet underground?
I feel like that had to be the boogey man’s tomb, no?
For a team I wasn’t sure would even eclipse 49 wins this season, it’s been a shite ton of fun with all these runs scored. The young management /front office they brought in are big into analytics and it’s apparently made a huge difference. They have the players doing homework

quote:

It’s here, in the alcoves beneath MLB stadiums, where the Washington Nationals converge for a revised version of hitters’ meetings that players say have powered one of baseball’s top offenses. It’s here that they stare up at a screen with more metrics and a clearer message than they ever had before. And it’s here that the position players gather around three new hitting coaches, pull out their homework and wonder why they hadn’t prepared this way until now.

Still a shitty ownership situation though. The Lerners are basically the real life version of the kids from succession. So much infighting and then decide to be cheap as frick. Hope they sell soon. If they had actually spent money on some pitching, they’d be comfortably in a wild card position right now. Trading Gore away for example.., it’s not often you trade the rebuild pieces you got from a rebuild trade  re Soto

But I guess it can be argued that the impending strike is going to frick up shite anyway and probably cost some players a season. Hopefully new ownership comes in and commits to really building a winner after the strike. Just feels like we’ve been the marlins since the World Series win.

I read up on the comic story with Noir and would’ve preferred that much more. I heard the show actually did a lot of things better than the comic but the overall arc of the comic I feel would’ve been a much better story and made a lot more sense. And stormfront should’ve been a dude and been the main bad guy for at least a season and a half. Speaking of, you spend all that time hyping up stormfront and soldier boy alluding to a potential reunion this season and nada. W t f! And Jack from Jupiter should’ve been in the show too. Just so many misses on where to take the story.

That ending sucked. I’m also convinced these showrunners had no idea what the frick they were doing the last couple of seasons. The whole Gen V tie in that they tried to build up meant zero, zilch, nada.

And yeah the whole macgruber turn for homelander was forced and lame. It was hilarious in macgruber, not here. I will say him attempting to fly was funny as shite and reminded me of this:

The first season of this show was ELITE and I enjoyed the next 2 seasons a lot but man this show fell off a cliff hard. So many different supe stories they could’ve made a thing too. And I still can’t believe that was the final scene for soldier boy the episode before. LAME. And the Deep’s death was terrible too. I was expecting about 20 great whites to be tossing him up in the air like a volleyball for 10-15 seconds with limbs going everywhere  maybe a dolphin flipping up and punting his head back to shore

The only good part about that finale was Butcher killing HL like cocomo said. Really had high hopes for this season after it started so strong.

Undeclared was great. I’ll throw this random show on Fox that I actually bought on Apple TV the other month  I’ve never met anyone who remembers it. It was around 2010-2011

But yeah I think of Quarry and this show when it comes to 1 season shows. If we are slipping in a two season show, I’ll say Ridley Scott’s raised by wolves. Probably the best thing he’s done since Prometheus. That was just really starting to get good and the season finale of season 2 was legitimately creepy and setting up for what I believed was going to be an unhinged and awesome season 3.it was like Prometheus on an acid trip. HBO doesn’t even have it anymore and it’s bullshite considering it came out in 2020.
O looking like a future Batista
Spurs fricked with no Harper.

And Caruso is a gamer
This is the lifeline the NBA needed. This is must watch television for the first time in years I feel.
Feel okc depth gets them the series win this season, but it’s about to be Wemby and Harper on a shaq Kobe run at minimum. Maybe Jordan Pippen. And yes Harper will be a better pro than Flagg, I’ll keep banging that drum.
I didn’t even know we were in on this guy to be honest. Nice surprise.
