Yes, Sanford & Son and All In The Family were the kind of quality tv we may never get back.

A show that gets better each time I watch it. Foxx was a comedic genius in that show and with his on stage routines. Lamont was a great character with Fred alone, but add in his time with Rollo and Julio, made it so awesome. Too bad we cannot have TV shows like this today.

GOAT sitcom and Demond Wilson was a great dude. Conservative minded kid who grew up in NYC. Served in the military. Was not into pants on the ground type culture. RIP Kalunda

Weeknights during summer in my childhood always wrapped with Benson after the late local news, followed by Sanford and Son at 11 PM on WVUE, channel 8 outta New Orleans.

He and Rollo were hysterical together when Pop would rip into them. Such an awesome show

Yeah and then that fast talking Mexican would show up sometimes and put Fred in his place. That show was greatness!

Red Foxx had impeccable timing and the surround cast were very talented.

and Grady Wilson was the funniest one on the show IMO. Those episodes where he starred when Foxx was holding out were legendary.

Lamont goes Karate was probably one of the best episodes of the series.
