producer Bill Persky claims DW pulled a gun on him

BP once showed up at his house. DW answered the door and in the bg BP could see his wife crying with a black eye

Good thing Lane kiffin didn't sign him. With the portal closed, we'd be in a bind.

Damn. He was good in that show. I couldn’t imagine having to be the straight guy for Redd Foxx. It would be hard to hold it together. One of the funniest scenes is when Fred is in traffic court and asks “where all the white people at? You got enough of us in here to make a Tarzan movie!” (If this site wasn’t running freakin Windows 95 graphics I would insert a laughing emoji here)

Dude, upgrade the capabilities on here so we can insert our own emojis if we want instead of those stick men you have out to the side. This is literally Windows 95/AOL type stuff here. It’s awful. There are better message board templates out there.

Best sitcom off all time, 70’s real world hood! Real pool room characters and there is Rollo.

I still watch this show and laugh my arse off.

The other day there was an episode where Lamont was practicing acting with someone from an acting class, a white lady. He had to act as if he was choking her and in the process Fred was coming home so looking in the window he saw Lamont choking a white lady and he is like "Oh! Lamont is choking a white woman!" and grabs his heart and and does his whole heart attack routine, but the whole episode is hilarious.

He and Rollo were hysterical together when Pop would rip into them. Such an awesome show

You ever saw the episode when they were in a bar and fred's friend saw them. It was a gay bar or it had gay in the name or something, but he thought Lamont was gay and he told Fred so Fred called the doctor over to check him out to see if he was gay?

The most amazing thing about these clips is that Redd Foxx was only 50 years old when Sanford and Son debuted, and 56 when it went off the air. He looks 80+ in every clip.

and Whitman Mayo was 8 years younger, but they "aged" him to make him appear a good bit older...

The Piano Mover was Top 5 S&S episodes IMO. That and those with Julio were great.
