Right. Totally verified. So, what's the disconnect here? Her, instructor, ATC or plane? Eerie scene nonetheless, but this seems like a cluster.
For example, do inbound aircraft put on night vision goggles as they navigate approach to Reagan? Give me an animated video of Plane 1 with zero windshield obstruction, no goggles, clear ATC COMMS and a couple of dudes riding the bird down not seeing/hearing about a single obstruction

It's an animation from the Helo, as the video begins. With dual verbiage on a split screen in text below. It's not what I expected anyway. I never heard the male in the bird, ATC or anyone say divert or anything. Almost like it was a tech disaster unforeseen
