Nothing cheap will keep you dry for long in a good rain. I bought Gill jacket and bibs 8 years ago and they are still in good shape. Stay dry and warm in them. ...

The river carries about 10% the sediment now as compared to when it built the delta. Levees all the way up to the headwaters is the main reason. The diversions will build land at a glacial pace compared to dredging and pumping. In a perfect world we would do all the above. Sadly the coast is already...
