Santa Clara forward Allen Graves said this week that he has been speaking with LSU and Duke as potential transfer destinations.
Graves, a 6-8 redshirt freshman from Ponchatoula, La., participated in the NBA Scouting combine this week in Chicago in hopes of being a first-round draft pick.
According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Graves said he would prefer to stay in the NBA draft if he’s a first-rounder but that LSU and Duke are his top choices otherwise.
Yahoo Sports recently named Winners and Losers at the scouting combine this week, with Graves falling in the latter category, which could bode well for LSU's chances of keeping him from the pros.
Graves averaged 11.8 points and 6.5 rebounds this past season.

Allen Graves, Santa Clara
Graves was an unheralded recruit who broke out as a potential first-round pick during his redshirt freshman season at Santa Clara this past year, but he had a poor showing in testing on Tuesday. He finished outside the top 50 in every agility drill and didn't do well in 3-point shooting drills. Graves would be one of the most coveted players in college basketball's transfer portal if he returns to school.
