I had just turned 4. I remember my parents being upset while watching the TV coverage and I was wondering why they would be so upset about something that didn't directly involve a member of our family.
Louisiana satsumas. Unfortunately, last year's freezing temps killed my tree. Thanks, global warming.

and why should a company have to tell its employees thst this needs to be done?

Because just telling a young employee to be friendly is not specific enough.
Looks like all of Louisiana is just at risk for frost, not freeze.
What the left doesn't understand is that workers need to be "detained" while their paperwork is checked out. Is ICE just supposed to ask nicely if someone is here legally?

That’s gotta be assault right?

Assault on that balcony. I'm disappointed that it didn't collapse.
Bring back Falon! Was the only reason I watched the news.
Diversity should be achieved by encouraging applicants of all types to reach high standards. Lowering the standards to achieve diversity never works for anyone.
Elon Musk is going to be remembered as the greatest African American in history.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, multiple local agencies in Pennsylvania were able to locate the girl in a basement of a residence in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

On Friday, Oct. 24, the Louisiana State Police (LSP) Special Victims Unit contacted the U.S. Marshals Service Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force’ (MLFTF) District Sex Offender Coordinator (DSOC) requesting collaborative assistance in locating the girl. The MLFTF DSOC received information from the State of Louisiana’s Attorney General’s Office Cyber Crime Unit, revealing that she may have had online contact with an unknown adult male.

Multiple state and federal agencies reportedly traced the girl’s online activity, which led authorities to Pennsylvania and the man she had been in contact with on Snapchat. Sources tell UWK that it appears the girl was coerced by strangers online to leave her parents’ home.

Sources confirm to UWK that the missing girl went to the Greyhound Bus Station in Baton Rouge and found a man there (the man in the camo hat), whom she requested help from. That man is then said to have taken the girl to St. Vincent de Paul for a meal and then to Wal-Mart for her to get some clothes and possibly other items such as a prepaid cell phone. He then dropped her back off to the Greyhound Bus Station.

According to the Marshals Service, the girl traveled via Greyhound Bus from Columbus, Georgia, to Pittsburgh. From there, it appears a woman met her at the bus station and took her to a home in Pittsburgh, per sources. There, she was allegedly was kept in a basement for nearly a week.

According to WTAE in Pittsburgh, 26-year-old Ki’Shawn Crumity is facing multiple charges for his role in the case.

An NOPD officer was placed on leave for smoking meth on the job. Officials found out because he filmed himself with his own body camera. Then they re-instated him. Surprisingly, he failed another drug test and was then allowed to resign.
Kid's getting pummeled.
I keep seeing things on FB about people from places like the Midwest that are stuck there because they were vacationing and flights out got cancelled. I think I'd have left a week ago. This is the kind of storm that destroys airports and docking facilities. Even if you survive the storm you could be stuck for weeks in poor conditions.

What exactly has protected the Gulf and the east coast from landfalls this year?

It was the name change from Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America

It's not as elaborate but the Benedictine monks have a place in Subiaco, Arkansas. They make hot sauce.

The fact that the mother has to go out searching for video in the neighborhood tells you all you need to know about the competence of the local police.

I looked and didn't see this posted yet. This should be on everyone's radar. Let's get this baby back home where she belongs.

The child was not allowed to have a phone or social media but still managed to get hold of a tablet where the mother found evidence she was being groomed. She was last seen at the Greyhound station with an adult male. At the very least we can all be aware and keep our eyes open and hopefully this child can come back home.
