He got a $1200 education.
But chances are a moron like that didn’t learn a damn thing.

He had just gotten promoted as well as received his annual commission check, and was feeling unusually generous, so he decided to show a little kindness by engaging with one of them and buying a warm, likely stolen Powerade.

APD gave him the runaround when he tried to submit a police report, so he gave up on that front. They don't give a flying frick.
I wouldn’t give up on the police report quite so quickly. That is the police departments job to protect against this kind of bullshite. If they can’t manage to do that, maybe a local news story would help them to focus.
I can’t stand people that choose not to do the job that they were paid to do.

What I got out of ALL that is that your friend only had $1200 in his checking account.

But if your friend tracks down that scholar and exacts street justice, i bet the PD would be all over it.

Do not EVER interact with the intellectual sophists of the Atlanta Interstate off ramps. They make the NOLA "I know where you got dem shoes" boys look like amateurs.

Last time I went to a game at Camden Yards the downtown Baltimore water boy framework was truly a sight to behold

unless you have bills coming up before the next payday, why would you keep more? I have less than $50 in my checking at any given time, other than bill time. Leaving any more in there is *literally* giving away free money.
It's always funny to me people that brag about having like $5K or $10K in their checking. Congrats! You clearly have zero clue on how to manage money.

Your friend wears a helmet at all times, doesn’t he?

Your friend just went to school and got an education. And education costs!!
Apparently it costs $1,200 in ATL.

You think having cash app makes someone "well-off"? It's a free app available on any phone including free government phones.

I prefer the term "reparated". They earned it

Your friend is a huge dumbass and will likely continue to get scammed the rest of his life.

Your buddy rolled down his window to give money to some street thugs? Street thugs who are well-off enough to request said money through cashapp?
That's something that gets lost in all these encounters with folks needing "gas money to get to work" or a "bus ticket to get home" or whatever other story....
They have gone high tech. Don't have cashapp? How about venmo? No? How about you tap to pay with your debit card on this screen?

Heading to Atlanta tomorrow. I'll keep the windows rolled up while I'm in town.
