BB started majorly going downhill when it stopped being a random swatch of regular guys and gals from all walks of society and started going exclusively towards younger social media influencer wannabes. Now they're just straight up taking people that are going to be in their 3rd season of a reality TV show? Seems about right.

I am most certainly NOT an experienced boater, and have no training and epxerience. So can someone dumb it down for me why going straihgt into the wind is the best call? I'm sure there is a valid reason for it, I'm not second guessing this guys' actions. I simply don't know.

If I live to be 100, I won’t understand his appeal. How he was more successful than a true talent like his peers, Steve Wariner, Hal Ketchum
both guys you mentioned are from the north. Granted that doesn't mean a hill of beans when it comes to talent, but I do think there's something to be said for "hey that guy is from near where I'm from" as a good starting point on some things. When I was younger a knew a shitton of people that loved AJ's music because he was from like an hour away from us.
As for "cheesy songs", put on some of those cheesy songs now in a bar 30 years later and people will still sing along to every word. Just becuase they may not go down in historical records as crowning achievements in musical history doesn't mean they can't be fun and enjoyable.

Got around to watching episode 2 last night. I enjoyed it even if some of the jokes were ones we'd seen before. I think the hardest I've laughed between both episodes was the bread line skit talking about mourners just not having that spring in their step and going hiking with a mourner asking them to catch up. That was a good bit. Overall it feels very much like Larry just being Larry, which is a good thing.
My only complaint is with the last skit, which was so eye rolling I had to fast forward. I know that left-leaning comedians have made a living for 10 years just picking the low hanging fruit of making fun of Trump, but Larry is so naturally funny he hasn't really had to resort to that unlike no talent hacks like trevor noah and others like him. So that last skit with Washington at the podium just kinda felt out of character for LD in addition to simply not being funny. I'm not one of those boomers that will not watch a show just because a liberal is in it, that's a bit crazy. I will say that I won't attend any more Roger Waters shows despite me loving the music because the politics is SOOOOOO over the top that it's a distraction. But the constant and unrelenting trump bashing in the skit was just....off brand, it felt like. And it went on and on and on and on like a family guy skit where it just never seemed to end. Granted I know the people behind the show are all liberals and hell in the first episode the cold open is with fricking obama, so obviously the entire show top to bottom is going to hate trump. I guess I would just prefer larry to not be in that arena. I watch shows like this to get away from real life (and politics) and just be entertained and laugh, not be beaten over the head with political agendas.

I wouldn't say "every time", but frickin ben leard and Ronnie daniels became Joe Montana and Jerry Rice against us in 1999. Truly head a scratching.
Chambliss owned us both games last year but he's obviously great so not sure he qualifies for the random part.

I know that we have to be all equitable and shite now but honestly who on earth is tuning in to watch a 2 hour volleyball replay? Or track and field lmao
They would have SO MUCH higher viewership showing football only (maybe slip in one basketball or baseball if necessary) and not jsut the same old rehashed games that are on every summer. Show some of the forgotton classics from the 90s and early 00s. They'd made a killing.

re: 2010 Bama vs 2007 Florida.. Who wins?

Not even close? Lol...no. I know you hate Florida but that is just very insane. You think a team with Urban Meyer as HC lead by Tebow gets blown out? Lol..our biggest loss under Tebow was fricking 12.
We had Tim, Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, The murderer, Caldwell, Dunlap, Haden, Newton, Major Wright, A Black, The Pouncey's, M Hurt, Harvey, etc
We were fricking loaded. And we had a damn good coaching staff like Meyer, Addazio, Mullen, Strong, Billy Gonzales, Doc Holiday.
I mean, all of that kind of ignores what we know happened on the field. UF was a major head case that year despite the talent. They lost 4 games. Gave up 30+ to troy. Hung on by 6 against a 9 loss orgeron team. Lost to a pedestrian (4 loss) AU. Lost to LSU. One score win over a 5-loss Kentukcy. double digit loss to GA. It was just a very undewhelming, uncerachieving, mediocre team that happened to have a heisman candidate at qB.
Now compare that to 2010 bama. Their issue was that they jsut happened to lose 3 games to 3 really good teams and didn't quite tap into the limitless potential that was bookended in 2009 / 2011. They beat some really good teams in addition to the teams htey were supposed to. Their losses were:
-On the road to a 9 win team that finished 22nd in one of the most complete and biggest games in that program's history. Like one of htose video game "everything went right" kinda deals
-On the road to an 11 win LSU that finished ranked 8th
-At home by 1 to one of the best teams and best players in the SEC in the last 50 years
When looking at both teams from a big picture view, bama was an uber-talented and better coached team (better than UF in both facets) that lost 3 close games to 3 really good teams.
Florida looked like a team that just kinda meandered their way through the schedule losing to teams they shouldn't and hanging on against teams they shoud've whipped.
Lastly, this isn't a "he's a UGA fan so he hates Flordai" thing...just recently I was defnding UF agianst taht bama tard taht calimed 1991 - 1996 was a better period for bama than it was for UF. I'm simply going by what my eyes and the facts tell us. And bama was pretty clearly the better team.

Why would we do that?
why wouldn't you? Like for you, as a fan of South Carolina, what POSSIBLE benefit do you get personally by seeing us beat tech for the 9th time in a row (would be 10 if not for covid)?

we're on year what, like 40 now? of retards thinking shite like this matters.
Why on fricking earth does anyone care what the national perception of the 16-team conference in which your team plays is? i care about my team and my team only. Texas beating or losing to ohio state doesn't make one gd difference to me. In fact, I will be cheering for the non-SEC team in every single game you mentioned. Just like most people with a brain would also be doing if UGA were in the same situation.

I can remember something my mother would tell my brother and I when we saw police eating in restaurants. She told us the police were our friends and protected us from bad people. She would make us wave and say hello to them. The Police seemed to like having little kids being friendly to them. That stuck with me and the idea of physically fighting a Policeman would have been the last thing I would have done as a teenager or adult!
ya know it's funny. Everyoen I know that was brought up in a law enforcement family, or a family like yours that was taught that police are the good guys and to wave and seek them out if you need help and that they're on our side....have generally avoided any legal trouble in adulthood and are typically well adjusted people.
The ones that grew up in "frick the popo" households that were taught that cops are bastards only looking to frick you up and you should avoid them at all costs because they're the enemy....have generally found themselves in legal trouble and are usually a complete shitshow as adults.
Odd how that works out isn't it...

2010 bama beats the shite out of ,2007 Florida. Not even close. Florida had 4 losses too if memory serves.

Was the 2021 and 2022 Dawgs Defense a result of Muschamp or Kirby?
those all time generationally elite (for UGA) defenses were a perfect confluence of many things.
-elite talent, obviously. at every position. Unreasonable to stack talent like cordwood liek that now in todays' game
-incredible eye for talent eval in lesser rated recruits. javon bullard was a 3* that was the 82nd ranked DB in his calss. Kamari Lassiter was barely a top 200 recruit. Zion Logue was a 3* that doesn't seem to be rated in any of the top sevice lists.
-Development,which rarely rarely exists in today's transfer age and "gimme money or I'm leaving" era. A guy like Jalen Carter sat on the BENCH in 2021, can you even imagine that happening today? Guys came in, got developed up like hell, waited their turn then balled out when they saw the field.
-Those 2 years were likely the best top to bottom coaching rosters we've ever seen. To your point, Will Muschamp was helping the defense as a damn analyst! Glenn Shucman, our current DC and a guy that everyone knows will end up being a P4 some day, was only the 2nd in command. Our DC Lanning was a guy that ended up taking over the HC gig at one of the premier jobs in the country.
We simply had the perfect storm of everythign clicking togethert perfectly at the right time. Glad it happened.

Not being a butthead but I'd kinda rather not say so you can watch the ~15 minute YouTube highlight video and be shocked at all the twists and turns.
If the USC/texas rose bowl was a 10, this game was a 9.5. Really was insane. Watching it blind as a neutral observer would be badass.
