In 1992 sanford stadium had 100 years of Georgia football big commemorative logo on the field. At halftime of the tech game the gt band brought a huge ugly arse gold tarp to put over it before their routine.

Let me tell you, that was likely the only sporting event in history where the band was booed for the absolute entirety of their whole routine. 6 or 8 minutes or however long it was, not just one song...booed throughout all of it.

most AI clickbait bulslhti like the OP is garbage but I will give the person who put it together for the following:

-not having michican as high as many other media outlets. When there's only like a half dozen football programs for 20 years it's easy to rack up a high win count. They also have an astounding lack of national titles over the last 75 years
-having UGA in the top 10
-having UGA and LSU neck and neck, as they shoudl be, with UGA having a slight edge
-Tennessee dropping way down as they should

Subtract the vehicle moving violations for UGA and we go from 302 to like 12.

fans of ranked matchups, apparently.

NFL teams play 17 games against NFL teams

I didn't realize CFB teams were playing against non-CFB opponents?

Not to mention this is a lazy reference since there isn't an apples to apples comparison...the worst team in the NFL is still made up of the top 1% of 1% of 1% of all football players on planet earth. The worst team in the league could beat the best team on any given sunday

I'm a fan of UGA football, so I enjoy watching them play ball regardless of if there's a few gimmes on the schedule.

why does it matter? You play 12 games regardless of when the crappy ones occur.

I remember for the longest time people complained about their being a cupcake in the 2nd to last week before big rivalry weekend. People bemoaned that it wasn't entertaining enough for them. Well now wiht a 9 game scheudl emost teams are playing conferences games in the penultimate week and people are complainign about week 1. Some people jsut won't be happy until a team plays all 12 games against ranked teams.

Samuel was my favorite character. Some of the stuff he said throughout that book was tremendous.

It's been ages since I read it so I couldn't even tell you which main characters did what, but I often still think about their conversation regarding Timshel. That passage stuck with me for sure.

why would I give the slightest shite? I don't cheer for conferences.

I want my school to win. If they don't, I sure don't want all of our biggest annual competitors to win instead.

eta: think about the level of retardation of a UGA fan actively cheering and rooting their arse off for bama or florida or tennessee to win a natty just because they happen to be in the same collection of member schools as us.
CFB was so much better for EVERYONE when conferences were smaller and actually regional, which led to a ton more parity to boot

the courts win pretty every time it's "NCAA vs courts" so not sure why the conferences would have a better leg to stand on?
of fricking course the week after I cancel Netflix they come out with something I'd really love to see.

It is (well, I don't know if it is for UF but I know the score you posted is definitely correct which would make the OP wrong) and I'm pretty sure we've had much worse losses than what's posted as well.

Garbage graphic.

Alabama, Georgia and Ole miss will not make playoffs

I fully agree.

All 3 of those teams won't be in the playoffs.
A couple will though.

it's a generational thing and it's only going to get worse.

Today's 18 year olds were born in 2008....they were given an ipad or a phone as soon as they could crawl. They've had social media accounts since elementary school. So much of social media is self-serving narcissitic LOOK AT ME bullshite and that's all these kids have ever known their entire life.

You didn't see this kind of thing to THIS widespread a degree even 10 years ago, because the HS seniors of 10 years ago were born in 1998 so probably at least lived some of their childhood in a screen-free world. Now that we've reached the time period where kids have been exposed to this shite since birth...well that's what we've got. I shudder to think how much worse it's going to be 10 more years from now.

kirby's first year was also literally his first year ever as a head coach, just fwiw.

And he did make the playoffs in year 2.
