Ohio St plays Ball St, Texas plays Texas State. By no means am I saying upset alert, but I think Texas State could keep it respectable with Sark being vanilla for Ohio St.
Texas St has the most returning production returning on offense in the country. QB is a stud and they have two receivers that combined for 172 catches back.
They are well coached by GJ Kinne. I think it will be a solid win by the end of the season. They have been a popular wildcard Pac 12 winner pick.
But to the OPs point i wish we had ULL week 1 and Clemson W2.

re: Josh Pate’s model has LSU at 10-2 this year

Last year at this point he had Texas, Clemson Penn state and Florida in the top 8 and LSU 12. South Carolina at 14.
So a 50% hit rate on playoff teams.

I love this board. Last year at this time when he said we would be a disappointment, we all said he was the worst guy in media and always wrong.
Now we’re giving him props for being right and love him again because he has us winning 10 games

Aggies haven’t won a title in the big 3 since 1939 and have never made the SEC championship game
How did the game go vs Texas the last two years and the last time yall played before the long break?

Good news is they just said it’s a bone bruise
The bad news is for an offensive alignment that could be up to three months. So it looks like they will get him back in November, but I see them losing to Ohio State and Oklahoma by then.

Kirby said nobody has OL depth anymore. Any solid backup is getting paid to be a starter somewhere else

It’s their thinnest position. Probably a freshman
They couldn’t afford any OL injuries
I never understand rivals rooting for or cheering injuries. Seeing it a lot on X
Every LSU fan wants Chambliss 100% for W3.

LT future top 10 pick left practice with a knee injury and getting a MRI
They know immediately if it’s ACL so the fact they haven’t said it’s not serious means he’s done
Sucks. I really hate hearing about injuries in camp because I want to see teams at full strength.

Jealous of Arkansas and Miss State’s baseball stadiums. Amazing park and atmosphere
Wish they would have done that with the new Box.

It’s like when Saban made news for being the first coach with the massive contract.
We will look back in 3 years and every sec team will be above 50m
I just don’t know how the donors keep up with all of this. Every school has rich donors who are good for a one or two time donation but now they are expected to give every year

It’s all about roster management. You could have five of the top 100 players in the country but collectively they could cost you 20 million.
One thing is for sure is it’s definitely made the bad Teams better since second and third team players are transferring to start
