Myles apparel

This fabric is awesome. Cool with stretch for summer like activewear but can almost pass as chinos and durable as hell

Believe it or not, Sam’s has a nice selection of shorts. That’s typically the first place I go to look.

These are my go to shorts now. Very lightweight and athletic but look better. Local boy outfitters volley shorts. They also have back pockets and belt loops - I have thrown a belt on these, tucked in my shirt, and played golf in them

Used to be $40, which is a good deal for the quality

Check out Dicks or Academy. The UA and Nike shorts are awesome.

Yes. Get the lined ones. I have 3 pairs I have rotated for the past 3-4 years.

If their shorts are half as good as their pants, then they’re exceptional. Love my Bonobos.

OP, I bought some Amazon essentials that I like a lot. They’re $18/pair so you can’t really go wrong and you can get them in varying inseams.

Second the Columbia ones. They have a style and I’m not sure the name. Never wrinkle. Zipper pocket in the back. Hell I’m about to put a pair on now and light the pit

I like Chubbies Everywear as a chino/athletic hybrid, or Vuori Meta as standard short.

I think it would be helpful if people gave age ranges along with their recommendations.

I’m in my 40s and I wear chubbies, but I’ve been wondering if I’m too old for them.

BearBottom stretch shorts or stretch chino shorts are what I wear most days. I have them in 5 or 6 different colors.

5.5” inseam, I’m 38 years old and short
