“And now I will call the OP a pussy from my anonymous account”
Most sports gambling people are long time addicts that struck luck with the legalization. Most addicts of anything look like shite

The garage can only fit one car and you have to walk outside from the garage to the house.

Going outside from the garage to the house would also be a deal breaker for me at that price, or even significantly below it. Interesting. And I’m not sure how large the garage is, a lot of supposedly 2 car garages also don’t fit two SUVs/trucks, but at that price would also be a deal breaker.

Also saw the poster that commented about the shared driveway. Another thing you wouldn’t expect from that price range.

All reasons the OP would have trouble finding a buyer as you have to be willing to live with those issues, and since he’s not finding a buyer they keep lowering price. Seems like actual issues with the house vs location like some posters were attempting to argue

Did you listen to the whole rant?

No bc he’s a loser like his fans
I figured the internet was putting words into his mouth, then I found the actual quote from the video he posted after one of his bets went bad:
quote:

“Murder Pete Carroll,” he said in a video posted to social media over the weekend. “I want Pete Carroll murdered.”

Sports gambling has gone too far, tons of shitheads on social media threatening athletes regularly when their bets go bad. Now the king of them all Portnoy doing it too. There needs to be repercussions for this shite, it’s going way too far.

In my own parish, the fact that the young priest chose not to read that letter is but one example.

Care to share which parish you attend so we can make the switch?

This board is a boomer love fest lately. Any anti boomer post gets obliterated in downvotes. Thanks for doing the Lord’s work

Approximately 2.2 million American men were drafted into military service during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1973.

And only 900k went to Vietnam

They would be minding their own business one day, and the next day they were forcefully enlisted into the military and on their way to Vietnam.

Only 900k men who served in Vietnam were drafted

fricking boomers going uphill in the snow both ways to Vietnam

You couldn't buy a full family house for 50k or less in the frigging 80's.

quote:

Houses weren't always this expensive. In 1940, the median home value in the U.S. was just $2,938. In 1980, it was $47,200, and by 2000, it had risen to $119,600.

Per CNBC

One thing I have noticed with my millennial male peers. Just about none of us are getting married again after the first divorce.

You must have some shitty friends. Statistically millennials have a much lower divorce rate than the selfish boomers or Gen X
quote:

A couple of young retards were lamenting how they will never be able to afford a house with mortgage rates at all time high. I informed them that in the early 80's that mortgage rates were 18%.

And a full family house cost $50k or less, and a single average father’s income could support a middle or upper class lifestyle.

Boomers, the most coddled and selfish generation, took up all of the benefits of the growing economy, took it all for granted, now they’re having to work longer and deprive young people of good jobs, and planning to spend too much in retirement so they don’t provide any inheritance to their kids like their parents did

And I say this as one of the few young millennials actually doing well in this economy. The rest of my cohort are voting in socialists in NYC bc they’ll never get ahead statistically

There is certainly an advantage to being more in the city and closer to everything which would increase home values. There is also an advantage to being in the OP’s location over those areas. Namely, not being adjacent to ghetto BR hoods. Plop OP’s house in CCL, the street next to Bernhard’s compound, or off Fulwar Skipwith, and it would also be more valuable for being even further secluded from BR criminals.

Agree with this. BR is not one of the city’s where it’s definitively better to be closer to the city. There’s definite benefits to the Highland area between Siegen and CCL, and people are paying for it in that area
I’m not the saltiest book reader, I enjoy most of the movies but 6 is underwhelming for sure
