My j crew are getting tight and I'm about to go on vacation. What are some good brands? I like right above the knee.

Can't really go wrong with a Ralph Lauren classic chino, probably 9" for just above the knee, unless you are short or tall, then you might need a 7" or a 10/11".

get them off of ebay new with tags for much cheaper than retail

Just go to Dillards and buy a couple pair of what you like best.

I prefer Travis Mathew but I don’t wear them often because my arms are bigger than my legs

Callaway. You can usually score some from TJ Maxx or Sams. Land right above the knee.
