You morons defending this female cop. She panicked and killed a civilian. Know your damn target.

Yep. And then she got smoked herself

It is not nearly impossible to own a gun in Canada, but it is a heavily regulated privilege rather than a constitutional right. Over 2.2 million Canadians hold a firearms license. To own a gun, you must pass mandatory safety courses and rigorous background checks.

When? Before or after she killed the shooter?

Could be. The video moves fast to me, it’s hard to tell. But I’d think gun fire would make me drop down. He might have gotten shot trying to run opposite direction, too. Tough call. Bad situation.

I imagine Canadian cops haven’t been in too many shootouts. Plus the shooter was less than 50ft from her firing a rifle. If there was ever a time to panic this would be the scenario.

I guess they are okay with a cop blasting them or a family member dead if the cop is scared enough.

Montreal
Would’ve been a much better place if my ancestors had stayed. They figured out then how cowardly the Canadians were and they love drinking the queens titty milk.

Has the name of the shooter been released? If not, why?

So, did the female cop end up popping the gunman?
She went around the corner after she killed the other guy.
Did she get the gunman after that happened?

I dont think so, but who knows, looks like suspect shoots her in the back as shes trying to get away and then is moving around, reloading, appears to have taken his attention off female cop. Then he leans out back around corner from where he came and gets hit in upper torso from somewhere. I guess the female cop could have gone all the way around? Seems unlikely since he seemed so unconcerned with where she went and she was in icu reportedly.
I dont know how she didnt see the guy in the black shirt earlier, he was exactly in the direction the threat was at the time just standing there and she seems to look that way while hes there in video and then shes looking around the other way. I fault her on that, not seeing him before he was right next to her, but in that moment when she is suprised by him, ill withhold judgement, sucks. Let someone whose been in similar circumstances roast her. But im sure Montreal cops dont get into alot of firefights. I actually do business there and have been a few times. People from Montreal when they find out im from the south, just want to talk about guns and if I have any, and how bizarre it is to them that we are all "John Wayne's"
great city though, love it there.
