First thing I thought of as well. I remember after that Dallas video about how fast that cop lost his life. He went from thinking the perp was on one side to getting murdered in the back in like two seconds. It was very surreal.

I hate that the female cop shot the bystander, but that was an almost unavoidable situation given the circumstances. Sure, she deserves some blame, but so does the bystander. And obviously the majority of the blame goes to the a-hole shooter in the first place.

What sucks is with the way the shooter was advancing, had she ID'd the bystander and not shot him, the shooter would've been right up on both of them in less than ten seconds and the bystander would've been in the way again.

Just a shitty situation all around. But I don't think that is nearly as simple as "lady cop is dumb, haha."

And I am insanely curious about the old dude who seems to not even realize what he happening at the beginning of that video. That was surreal as well.

Same here. Still can't believe fox 4 showed that video without knowing what the video showed. Wife and I were all over the news that night and we were like holy shite, they surely didn't mean to show that live like that.

This is also why I'm not all over this lady. She fricked up but she made a split second decision while dealing with a shooter 10 feet away.
