Would have been a ridiculously underwhelming hire. LSU BOS guy Scott Ballard was a apparently a big fan of Drink. Wasn't Matt Mascona pimping this guy also? I don't listen to him but some stated that.

GaTech and LSU both preferred white home jerseys so I'm guessing at some point in between 1933-1963 LSU played at GaTech and had to wear some colored jersey.
I think the mandate by the NCAA to wear a white home jersey happened in the late 70s or early 80s after there was a mixup in some game and both teams showed up with only white jerseys. So the NCAA overreacted.

If the smoke is true then Lacy, not Berry, is your starting RB. But both would play a lot.
I've picked up hitchhikers. Been a while though. Never with my wife because she'd freak out. Picked up a guy walking along I-10 just after Katrina. He was on his way to New Orleans to try to find his son. He smelled bad. Very bad. You can imagine in that swampy late August weather.

LSU seems to get hit the worst when the season is mediocre. See end of Ogre's tenure as well. Nuss opted out his freshman year for crying out loud.
