Three jurors from the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, which ended in a mistrial last week, have come forward to discuss what happened with NBC10 Boston's Sue O'Connell.

The jury's foreperson, who wrote the note indicating concerns about a juror expressing reasonable doubt but not agreeing to a verdict, is among the jurors who spoke to NBC10 Boston on Tuesday.

In the exclusive interview, which lasted over an hour, they talked about the defense and the prosecution and the lengthy deliberations, as well as confirming what observers had inferred from the foreperson's note, that there was a holdout juror, who left them frustrated — they said he wouldn't listen to the rest of the panel.

"He admitted he had reasonable doubt and I started filling out the forms, I was so excited," the foreperson said.

But she said that the holdout juror added, "But I'm still not going to say that she's not guilty by reason of insanity."

They said they argued so much during deliberations that the six alternate jurors could hear them and thought they were fighting a lot, but they were determined to come to a verdict.

Another juror. Per CBS News

A woman who was juror No. 5 spoke to WBZ-TV's Kristina Rex Tuesday, though she asked to remain anonymous.

"At the end of the day, there was so much doubt," the woman said. "The prosecution didn't have a figurative smoking gun. There was not a single moment throughout the presentation of that case where you could say 'Yup, 100% I'm certain she did it' or that she didn't do it. There was too much gray area."

The juror said that from the start of deliberations, the majority of the room was trying to sway the lone holdout.

"The majority of people, it doesn't matter what side they were on, were very firm in their stance and their belief from the beginning," she said. "The stand-alone juror was not the only one that was unwilling to see things from the other side. So, I'm going to kind of defend that individual in a sense. There were some big personalities in that room. But at the end of the day, it just came down to an inability to move past your convictions."

The juror who spoke to WBZ-TV said at first, she believed Clancy should be found guilty and was criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children.

"And maybe I still believe that in a certain way. I think that this is a woman who was not mentally healthy. She was someone who was in the throes of a significant mental health crisis," the juror said. "I really just felt like she was so deep in it that she couldn't see her way out."

Excited?

How the hell can you be excited about a verdict when three kids were murdered?

Every time a leftist throws out the "cult" reference to the opposition, remember demonic shite like this.

Also, you need to realize that there is a bigger picture for demons on the left like this. They are ALWAYS looking for ways to make murder of anyone OK. If they can get this woman off for killing her kids, then they can use these same defenses when they kill someone they disagree with politically for no reason other than "they triggered me".

Think like a sociopath in these scenarios. There is always an end game with the left.

The word ‘excited’ shouldn’t be used anywhere near a case with three murdered children.

Given how giddy she seems to let a child killer loose, it appears the big dawg was right in saying "I don't give a frick about the technicalities, she murdered her children"

Whatever the eventual outcome is for this woman. I am grateful these 11 people did not get the chance to be the ones to make the call. Especially that disgusting hag that said she was “excited”.

They already celebrated abortion, now they’ve just expanded to cheering post birth murder if it makes the mom feel better.

I'm going to wager more than likely, based on how she said this, that he never said he had reasonable doubts and that is her injecting herself into his opinions and is taking any doubts whatsoever as "reasonable doubt".

Yup. Their whole attitude and facial expression is: How could someone possibly disagree with me? What is there to even discuss?
