Jury system is horrible.. Way to may dumbasses selected and 1 person can nullify 11 others. 5 Judges for Capital cases.. 3 for others. Majority rules.

I'm repeating this statement multiple times in my head right now, and I can't fathom the rationale behind this statement because I can't get off the fact that Lindsay viciously murdered her children either.

Having sat on a murder jury, she was probably excited to have a verdict, period. Means she can get the hell out of there.

Meh, as imperfect as it is I'd rather the current system than have the chance of being sentenced to life or even death with a 6-5, 3-2, or whatever close vote. Especially in regards to you seeming to suggest using judges instead of a jury, as if there are no biased or corrupt judges with their own agendas and ambitions. Also, with how judges are appointed and some current Supreme Court members as examples, not sure how much better they would even be compared to the general public so don't think I'd want my life and freedom to depend on just a simple majority.

I don’t even believe what they are saying. I think they are lying and figured it would be their word against his. Thankfully the judge was a decent judge and didn’t boot him from the jury.
