re: World Cup Daily Thread - Mon., July 6

That maybe the worst play I’ve ever seen dest make.
They are in aerating season. Already done it once, doing it again this week, and then I think one more time in August.
Never had a real issue with conditions at TPC, some of you paying 200+ need to make sure you mention you’re a LA resident when you book.

It’s Moline, IL. The town doesn’t care who’s playing and supports the tourney. They also invite a ton of young college players. The tour needs events like this
My guess is the John Deere is exactly what the PGA envisions the track 2 tour looking like.
Im probably one of the few posters on this board that loves New Orleans.
I think it’s fantastic news that these dumbasses were emboldened enough to go after the sitting AG who was never going to face any real issues. I hope she comes after them with full wrath. Democrat politicians have continuously tried to damage one of my favorite cities in the world and it’s time to put these morons in their place.
This could be great for people who believe in the importance of New Orleans.

I remember the good ole days when teams like South Carolina had no shot at elite recruits like Dobson. NIL changes everything.
I could be wrong, but it feels like So. Car has done this before even pre NIL.
I don’t see teams getting into a bidding war for Dobson knowing he’s likely going into the portal when Beamer gets fired anyway. Save your money now and wait for the portal battle.

Recently punched but maybe healed up by now.
Both are in good shape otherwise though.
Republicans don’t want to fix immigration.
They want the cheap labor and to keep their base wound up about it.
They are as wasteful as the democrats. It’s the same party.

I don’t get the shock from Political Talk on this. I thought it would be closer, but Fleming didn’t do anything to seperate himself from Letlow.
And letlow had Trumps backing, a bigger campaign, and is younger. All those factors are really important.
If you’re mad, be mad at Trump for endorsing letlow.

71 in Chicago. Must be nice.
I keep telling my wife eventually we’re going to live in Chicago for the summer and New Orleans the rest of the year.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I came inside from cutting the grass earlier and almost walked back outside because my wife keeps the house so damn cold.

Louisiana is not.
Some of you are so fricking clueless it’s incredible. The state has made massive leaps in early learning education and just received an award for the amount of economic development.

LA is def coming out of the post-COVID slump and it’s been win after win on the economic development front. If the momentum continues I think my rankings will stay the same.
Louisiana is doing a great job on the economic development front combined with improved education scores.
I think you’re going to see a point in time where LA, MS, and AL aren’t the laughing stock of the country anymore and instead it will be some states in New England.

There's two LIV players who have lifetime memberships on the PGA Tour, Phil and DJ. It will be interesting if they say, "Okay, boys, I'm ready to come back. I see Brooks was welcomed back with open arms. I'll see you at Pebble Beach next season."
My man there’s a better chance you’ll see me on a tour event next season than there is you see Phil.

I don’t think anyone is walking out of the LIV debacle with a bigger black eye than Phil. Personally and professionally.

This is the first announcement with any legs that I can recall. Always been rumors, but nothing concrete like today’s announcement.

I don’t see why anyone would coach college over professional sports at this rate.
College has all the negatives of pro ball, but with the added bullshite of recruiting and managing boosters.
