Exactly what I was told by someone in the know, but not directly involved in the search. Sounds like the initial feedback that LSU is getting is negative.

Nobody wants to believe this, but my source told me that this is the feedback they’ve received so far. Obviously things can change quickly. But LSU likely won’t be landing a name brand coach based on what I was told. That also doesn’t mean we can’t strike gold on an up and comer.

Per my sauce, that’s the feedback they’ve received from the jump. Established coaches think LSU is radioactive and with NIL, a good coach can win anywhere that invests in their roster. The people thinking that LSU will pull Kiffin or another big name coach will likely be very disappointed.

Curious if the OL woes are solely on Brad Davis or the overall offensive scheme? It all seems bad to me and honestly the OL wasn’t great last year even with two NFL starters on it, particularly in the run game.

You’re right in the money but nobody wants to believe it. With rev sharing and NIL, a top tier coach can win anywhere that invests in their roster.
