I was hoping we could resign Favors this offseason for a 2/30 type deal. I wouldnt go any longer than two years though and Im sure he will want a long deal and I dont blame him. I really dont want more young guys. Celtics seem like the most obvious team that would call about him. They need rim protection or they have no chance in the east.

What would the Heat even give us for Jrue?

Denver could be a low key suitor for holiday.
they have a serious roster crunch upcoming, they have all their picks, they are right there on the cusp

Their roster sucks. At least the guys they’re willing to trade. I’ll pass on Gary Harris

I agree that selling can only mean Jrue or Favors. I suppose that Hart or Moore could also be considered, but I'm not sure that either one of them would really rate this kind of cryptic comment from Lowe -- neither of them is really a big deal.

Dealing either Jrue or Favors seems unlikely to me unless one of them is unhappy. Jrue's value will still be there in the summer, and Favors has literally anchored our return to playoff contention.

But maybe Griffin has an offer for an overpay for Jrue, or maybe he's already decided that Zion and Favors don't pair well together. I guess we'll see.

What would you consider overpay for Jrue? What would that look like?

Gary Harris is a good defender, and I'm pretty sure we can get him to be a good sharp shooter.
Jerami Grant might be that perfect "big" to play with Zion. He's obviously not a 5, but an athletic 4 that can hit from outside at a high level and is a good cutter.

That being said, i think we can do much better than that for Jrue.
I'd rather find a trade for a young good player that has lots of potential, like Michael Porter Jr, but i doubt Denver would give him up for Jrue.

What about a Jrue/Miller for Tobias Harris? That's the type of player i'd like to get to play the 4/5 with Zion at the 4/5. Problem is Tobias is paid way too much.

I'd personally love to get Buddy back. Lonzo/Buddy/Ingram/Zion is a hell of a lineup, especially if Lonzo and Ingram maintain their 3 point shooting.

Turner just isn’t realistic. Would cost way too much. I think Lowe is full of shite.

I think we want to make the playoffs and we can.

Seems to me that one of Jrue, JJ or Moore should be traded with Moore the most likely to go. Seems him and JJ are kinda redundant.

We should trade Redick to Milwaukee for a first. Bucks will go all out this year and next year

What I don’t agree with is why did you sign Miller to basically be a walking trade exception if you didn’t plan on utilizing him?

At a minimum I suspect Griffin will try and move that contract for someone another team wants to get off the books. Not anything franchise altering but another veteran big or a 3/4 forward wouldn’t shock me.

Why would you trade JJ for the 30th pick?

Nope, only player Milwaukee would really part with to match salary would be Bledsoe, and I don't want him.

To do JJ a favor. Pay no mind to him. At least he managed to make a post that wasn't political so he's trying.

Well, moving Jrue or JJ would be running up the white flag for the season, Even though I was skeptical from the beginning about the playoffs, I’m not so sure I’m ready to throw in the towel just yet. If we 86 either Jrue or JJ,
We’d better get an asset that benefits us for more than one season, imo.

IMO, if we make a trade, it is going to be a bottom of the roster shuffle. You know BI is going to be making max next year, so I doubt they are looking to add a second or third contract vet. Try to turn a combination of Miller, the seconds, Frank, Jah, or Kenny into a package that nets you a playable asset that is cheap or on a short term contract.

Another way to MAYBE get Turner would be in a 3 team with Boston, if Indiana would do it.

Boston: Favors, Jackson
Indiana: Smart, Okafor
Pels: Turner, Robert Williams

Everyone gets good value, Boston loses Smart but gets back a decent defender to take his spot in Jackson, clears our logjam at guard, and gives Indiana another big behind Sabonis, and an elite defender that can guard 1-4

Long shot, but would make sense for everyone
